Chapter 15

~Your POV~

You had told Y/B/F/N everything that had happened. She was almost certain that Brendon had feelings for you. But I guess Saturday, that will be confirmed or not.

Y/B/F/N ended up staying the night since you talked until around 2:00 A.M. And in the morning, you started sending out invites to the party to close friends.

For the majority of the week, you and Y/B/F/N went to numerous stores to get things for the party. By Thursday, you pretty much had everything and you could not wait for Saturday. You just hoped your plan works.

~Brendon's POV~

As soon as I got home, I FaceTimed Dallon. I knew he would listen and help me tell Y/N that I have feelings for her. "Hey, what's up?" He asks. "Well, we went into town today and it wad amazing." "Tell me everything. Don't leave a single detail out." I then launch into the story.

When we finished quite some time later, Dallon said "Ok, dude she definitely likes you. A big hint to that, was when you started to let go of her hand, but she tightened her grip. If she didn't like you or have any interest in you, as soon as you got past the waiter, she would have let go and put some space between you. But she didn't." "I guess you're right. But I'm still debating. Maybe I'll tell her how I feel at the party." "Yes, you should. It would be perfect." "Alright, I'll do that then."

For the rest if the week, I tried to mentally prepare for the party. That included calling Dallon about every day just to make sure I had the plan down pact. It was safe to say, I was really nervous.

~Your POV~

*time skip to Saturday*  You and Y/B/F/N were frantically setting up the house for the party. That included cleaning, setting up the food, getting the speakers set up, and more. The most time consuming thing was the cleaning. You both had woken up around 12:00. By the time you had eaten and got dressed, it was around 1:00. You were sure that 4 hours to set up would be enough.

You set to work cleaning first. You started on the living room and Y/B/F/N started on the kitchen. You vacuumed and dusted to make sure everything was clean and looked nice.

You went to inspect the kitchen and the floors were cleaned, the countertops were shiny, and all the clutter on the counters were neatly organized. "Wow Y/B/F/N, I'm impressed." You say. "What can I say, I try my best." She replies laughing.

You decided to clean your bedroom even though you doubted anyone would go in there. You took your dirty clothes from the hamper and put them in the wash and then made your bed. You walked back into the living room where Y/B/F/N was sitting and asked her how the bathroom went. "Good. I organized your makeup that's on the sink rather than having it be in a big pile. It looks a lot better." "Thanks. I wouldn't have been able to clean as quickly without you." "Hey, thats what best friends do for each other." It was currently around 2:30 and you both took a break on the couch.

After about a 20 minute break, you started to hook the speakers up for the music. You had to sit and untangle chords so that took a while and when you finally got them all separated, you hooked up the speakers and tested them. 'Holiday' by Green Day filled the house. "I THINK THEY WORK." Y/B/F/N shouted over the music. "YEAH." You turned off the music and checked the time. It was 4:30 and you just had to put out the snacks and change into a bit more formal attire as well as do your makeup.

You pour the numerous bags of chips into bowls, fill the coolers with ice and put the drinks in them, and you set the desserts on the kitchen counter. That took about 10 minutes and then you and Y/B/F/N went to change.

You put on a simple black dress with an open back, and paired it was black heels. Y/B/F/N put on a royal blue dress with black flats. You both moved to the bathroom to do your makeup. You did a cut crease for eyeshadow, applied bronzer, blush, and highlight, and then applied a matte red lipstick. Y/B/F/N did a similar look but used different colors. You decided to curl your hair and Y/B/F/N kept her hair down.

You were done around 5:00 and both went to the living room to wait. At around 5:25, your friend Meagan arrived with your other friend Marie. "Hey guys! Glad you could make it!" You greet. "Yeah thanks for inviting us!" Meagan replies. Marie then jokingly asks "So when are the hot guys going to arrive?" You laugh. "Hopefully soon." "Ok good." She says laughing as well. Over the next 10 minutes, a lot of people had arrived. You had turned on the music so people weren't just awkwardly standing around.

At around 5:45, the doorbell rang and you went to answer it. You open the door to find Brendon. He was in a white button down, black dress pants, and black dress shoes. "Hey Brendon, glad you could make it!" You say. He smiles. "You look nice Y/N. You should wear dresses more often." You blush "Thanks. You look nice too Brendon." "Why thank you." He responds in a posh accent (A/N: I'm thinking of Dan Howell oh geez.) you laugh and step aside so he can enter.

You went to find Y/B/F/N to let her know he arrived and you can set a time to put your plan into action. You found her talking to your friend Frank and when she saw you, she politely excused herself. "Is he here?" "Yeah he just got here." "Ok what time should we do this?" She asks. "I say in about 45 minutes. Just so it's like kinda random. You remember how its going to go?" You ask. "Yeah. Of course. I've been waiting for like a week." She says laughing. "Ok good. I might go talk to some people." "Ok have fun."

You then walk over to your friend Kyle. You've known him for a while and he was really funny. "Hey Kyle!" You greet. "Hey Y/N! I haven't seen you in a while. I'm glad you invited me." "Yeah it feels like forever since we last saw each  other. I'm glad you could make it." You continue doing this for about 30 minutes before you caught Y/B/F/N's eye and nodded. She nodded in return and turned to her friend Claire. She said something to her and Claire went to Brendon and started talking to him. She then led him in the direction of your bedroom. You were glad he agreed.

Y/B/F/N then came over to you. "Alright he followed her. Now you should go. I'll come with you obviously so I can recite my speech." You make it to the bedroom and Y/B/F/N opened the door and shoved you inside. "Ok so I asked a friend of mine to choose a random guy to play 7 minutes in heaven and it seems she chose you Brendon. My other friend suggested Y/N since it's her party. So it appears you two have 7 minutes alone together. I'm locking the door and setting a timer. Have fun!" She says this all very quickly and then closes the door.

You hear the lock click and look at Brendon. "Well...what do you want to do?" You ask him. "I actually have something to tell you." He says a bit nervously. "I have something to tell you too." You say as your nerves kicked in and you started to ponder what he was going to say. "You can go first." He says. You then take a deep breath before saying "I like you...a lot.."
