Finally it's the weekend.
Every weekend, I would always meet up with my childhood friends, Michael, Calum, Luke and Ashton.
It's kinda our little promise to each other just cause now we're in totally different schools and we hardly see each other anymore compare to last time. We're used to seeing other every single day, now it feels there's a missing piece in my life.
I'm always excited to go meet up with them cause I know that they will put a smile on my face.
I wore my favorite sweater that I got from my mom, a pair of shorts and slip on my Converse that I'd gotten on my birthday last year, thanks to Michael, then waited for Ashton to come pick me up.
"HEY GET IN ASSHOLE!!" shouted Ashton a few minutes later.
I made my way to the car and hugged him aggressively. Then after letting go, I hit him on the shoulder.
"Ouch what was that for?" He said while rubbing his shoulder.
"The hug for cause I miss you face, the hit cause you called me an asshole, asshole." I said.
Few moments later, we both burst into laughter.
Oh god how I miss his face and his laughter. I swear to god, his laughter is god sent from heaven.
We drove down the park and spotted Calum and Luke setting up the blankets and food. "1 girl and 4 boys, going on a picnic. Wow." I thought to myself.
I raced out the car with Ashton and gave both Calum and Luke a surprise hug from the back. They both jumped in shock.
"Hey beautiful, we miss you!" Calum said as he hugged me back properly. He squeezed me tightly and I swear I thought I was going to faint. He has grown up for much over these few years and it's amazing how puberty has done for him. Damn puberty hit him like a fucking truck.
Puberty actually hit all of them like a fucking truck.
Luke have been awkward around me lately ever since last Christmas when he told me that he loved me out of the blue. I didn't say anything because I thought it was one of his games or something. But I didn't really take it to heart cause who the fuck would ever love me right?
I paused for awhile and looked around, realizing that there's someone missing.
"Where's Michael?"
Everyone stood there in silence and whisper to one another, like they're hiding something from me.
"Okay, what's up? Why are you guys acting all weird?"
"Should we tell her?" Calum said to the other two boys.
"I don't think he'll want us to." Ashton speaks as if like I'm not even there. Standing right infront them.
"It's a surprise." Luke finally talks and gave me a force smile.
"Fine."
What could it be?
What was Michael up to?
