Luke's POV
We all got back to my place and hanged out around the living room. I really need to continue my talk with Chris.
The truth is, I actually do love her and I know it's very risky since because I know she has feelings for Michael. How do I know you ask? Well, it was that time when I caught Michael and her in the pool. I could just see it in her eyes that she likes him. It broke my heart though but i know I could never come in between them. Their love for each to her was too intense. i thought I was over her by the end of December but I had to make a mistake and told her I loved her during Christmas. Then again, they're not together. They might like each other, but I don't see Michael asking her any time soon so might as well be me first. Yeah i know I'm somewhat breaking the bro code, but I need Chris to understand my love for her before she makes her decision.
"I'd give Michael a call and ask him to come over. He was acting really weird back there." Ashton stated as he struggled out his iPhone from the back pocket of his jeans.
"Chris, could you come over for awhile and help me out?" I walked over to the kitchen.
"Yea sure." She said as she jump up from the couch and walked in.
"What's up?"
"Well I thought that maybe, we could-"
"WHATTTTTTTTT" Ashton shouted in the living room, making everyone in shocked.
Both Christina and I ran into the living room to see what's going on.
"What do you mean you're not going to be around? What the fuck are you trying to say now?" Ashton shouted through his phone. His face was red in fury and his other hand was running through his already-messed-up hair.
"What's going on" Christina said in panic.
"Michael fucking Clifford said that he is going to move to America because he didn't wanna stay here anymore."
All of us stunned.
I turned over to look at Chris and saw a tear left her left eye.
"Pass me the damn phone Irwin." Christina toned her sentence as she wipe that tear away.
Ashton passed her his phone and sat back on the couch.
Christina quickly dashed upstairs to talk privately.
"Uh guys, if you don't mind me I'm just going to go-" I mumbled as I slowly walk backwards.
"Oh shut up Luke, you so wanna hear their conversation." Calum chuckled as he sat back down on the couch beside Ashton.
"Shut up." I ran across the room and upstairs to peek at their conversation.
Christina was in my room and the door was close. Obviously. I pressed my ears against the door to get a better hearing.
--
"Why are you doing this, Mike?" Christina mumbled against her words.
"What about us? You can't just leave me after what happened this morning." What did happen this morning?
Then it all came back to me. The memories in the park. I was running towards Christina as I saw both of them fluttered. I don't know what happen but I can tell by the way Michael look. His hair was messy, his lips were red. To my guess, I think they kissed.
I heard about sob.
"B-but..." Christina mumbled against her words.
I honestly don't like listening to her cry. It's the worst feeling ever when I can't do anything about it. I just want to hold her, make her feel safe, tell her that everything would be alright again. If I could take away her pain in any way, I swear I would. I just want to be her savior.
But everyone knows that I'm not.
"Okay then... See you soon." I heard Christina ended the call and walk up to the door. I flustered and quickly ran to the next room as she open the door.
She got a glimpse of my foot as it was sticking out from he bottom.
Stupid me.
"I wonder where Luke is hmm" she joked.
"I guess he could be-" before I could hear her finish, she jump attack me from behind, making me scream like a girl.
She burst into laughter and she fell on the ground, still laughing. Her hands were around her waist because it hurts due to that amount of laughter.
"Hey... It's not funny." I pouted.
"It is! Hahaha who knew a macho man like yourself could scream like my baby niece haha!" She continued laughing.
I chuckled and smirk. "Well let me prove to you then."
I quickly scooped my hand around her waist and picked her up over my shoulder. She struggled herself but kept laughing.
"PUT ME DOWN HEMMO!"
I laughed and went into my bedroom. I finally dropped her on my bed and stared at her.
"What was that for?" She asked as she adjust her clothing.
"Nothing. I just needed to do something so that you could stop laughing."
She smiled.
"So what happened?"
"What do you mean?"
"Don't act dumb Chris. What's wrong with Michael?" I looked at her with a worried face.
She shrunk her shoulders and look down at her hands. They were shivering.
I quickly went over to the bed to sit beside her. Not too close but close enough. I then took her hands.
"You're cold. Why?" I said while I cupped her hands to make hem warm.
"It's nothing..."
"Damn it Chris tell me what's wrong! I don't like seeing you like this."
"Do you- really want to know" she hesitated.
"Yes please. I just want to see you happy." I looked into her eyes and all I could see was sadness.
Something must be wrong.
She shift her position so she's facing me. Our hands were still together. She took a deep breath and finally she speaks. "Michael told me that-
