The clock.
Tick tock.
Tick tock.
Tick tock.
That's all we heard for 4 hours. The silence in the room made it felt so real. Like we're actually still in the hospital. I wish that this is all just a dream.
I was sitting on the bench beside Calum. Luke was sleeping on the opposite side with Lucy. Michael was waiting outside of her room. I finally got a hold of him. He came rushing before I could even hung up the phone. He was definitely crying, I could tell. I knew he loved her, but Luke also loves her. I really don't know what's going to happen but that isn't really important now. What's important is that Christina needs to be alright.
I couldn't sleep. It's nearly 3 in the morning now but they still won't let us see her. Damn. I need to eat.
I stood up and walked towards Michael as he was sitting on the cold hard floor, leaning against the wall.
"Hey man, do you want to grab something to eat?" I asked quietly.
"Um, yeah sure why not."
We walked towards the cafeteria, ordered coffee and sat down.
"So how you holding up?" I broke the silence.
"Not good." He chucked but I still see sadness in his eyes. Then suddenly, he broke down in tears.
"I-I. this is all my fault... Thi-this wouldn't happen if I did-didn't..." He struggled with his words.
"Hey this isn't your fault. You couldn't predict what will happen." I tried to cheer him up.
I hate seeing him like this. He is my best friend. He was the one that helped me get through my anxiety and now, this is the least I could do.

Michael's POV
"Morning guys. Um you guys can go in and see her now if you want to." The doctor spoke.
I shifted myself up from the bench and rubbed my eyes. What time is it? I looked up and saw the clock and it says, 8:30.
I honestly didn't sleep at all last night. After my talk with Ashton, I went for a walk outside of the hospital cause I really needed air. All that emotion in the hospital was too overwhelming for me.
I shook the other boys up and went to the bathroom. I splashed water on my face and adjust my hair. This was it. I finally got to see her.
I took a deep breath as I pushed the door open. The boys let me go in first, alone because they know that me and her was closer. But I could sense that Luke was glaring at me. Whatever.

"Christina?"
"Hey Mikey..." She said softly. She then struggle to get up.
"No no missy, you are not moving." I walked towards her bed side and sat down on a chair.
I stared at her face, her features.
She was badly bruised and had scars all over her body. Her hair fell down on the side of her face so I quickly pushed it behind her ear. I placed my palm on her cheeks as I felt her skin.
She closed her eyes and lean closer to my hand. I let tears fall off instantly.
"I'm.. I'm so sorry Chris... This is all my fault... I shouldn't have done-" I barely couldn't even finish my sentence.
"This is not your fault. Please don't blame it on yourself. I was stupid and careless." She said with a smile.
"Bu-but I was the reason why you ran out in the first place."
She frowned as I mention why all of this happen.
"Are you- are you still going to leave?"
"How can you even say that? Of course not! I am so stupid to think that I'm going to leave the country because I couldn't love you. I'm so sorry for doing that to you." I cried.
"I love you...."
She said it.
Those three words that I've been waiting to hear.
"I love you too, Christina. So much." I leaned in closer and kissed her forehead.
I ran out of the room and yelled out, "come in guys"
--
"We're so happy that you're fine, Chris!" Ashton exclaimed.
"Yeah we were all such emotional wreck back there, especially Luke." Calum giggled as he punch Luke's shoulder.
"Shut up cal. Go cry in a corner like how you did a few minutes ago." Luke said, keeping Calum quiet.
"Well I'm so happy that I finally get to see all your faces again!" Christina said beaming with a huge smile on her face.
"Oh we almost forgot! This is Lucy. She helped us out yesterday with everything. She's amazing." Calum quickly took Lucy out from hiding at the back.
Christina brought up her arms, demanding a hug from her. Lucy smiled and went towards her.
"Thank you for everything." She whispered as she wrapped her arms around Lucy.
"No worries. I'm glad that you're fine."
"I actually know you. We went to same school before but then I transferred. I saw some of your covers on YouTube though. You're really good, Lucy."
"Oh wow thank you so much." Lucy's face turned red instantly.
All of us hung out in the room. I sat beside Christina on the bed. She leaned her head on my shoulder. Lucy was sitting in between Luke and Ashton. Calum went to grabbed some food.
"So when will you be out?" Ashton asked.
"In a week or two. I'm not sure. The doctors say they want me to stay because they're afraid that I might have a concussion." She explained.
"Don't worry. We'll visit you every single day, love." I said.
She smiled and gave me a peak on the cheek. I kissed her on the forehead after.
Luke suddenly stood up. "I think I should go help Calum." He said as he walked out of the room.
