LUCY.

After 2 weeks

Luke's POV

We're currently decorating Christina's house for a "WELCOME HOME" party.

It's been 12 days since I'd seen her.

The box I gave was a necklace from that Christmas party last year. It was the day that I said I love you to her and I went and bought this but I couldn't give it to her because Michael was already there. I also wrote a note to her explaining everything about the necklace.

I just really need to move on from her.

Apparently I've been really close with Lucy lately. Maybe she's my source of actually getting over Chris. We hung out everyday considering that we live next to each other. We just talked on the phone every night, and maybe sometimes snuck out of the house at midnight. She's a pretty cool girl to hang out with, I don't understand why I didn't see that before. She's socially awkward, which I can totally relate, and also beautiful. I don't think she knows how beautiful she is. And her eyes, wow her eyes, I can stare at them all day. And I loved the way she laughs, it's not those typical cute-girl-laugh which was different from me cause nowadays girls around me that laughs, sounds very forceful and fake. Her laugh was so genuine and it makes me smile everytime.

Woah cut it out Luke.

I don't know, maybe there could be something between me and her. But I don't think she sees me in that way.

"Come on guys hurry up, she's almost here!" Ashton yelled as he threw a bag of ribbons at Calum.

"Michael, get your butt up and help us out!"

"Wait hold on, I'm almost winning this game!!" He was so focus on the video game, it's annoying.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the guy. I mean, he did steal the girl of my dreams away, but no I can't hate him cause he didn't anything wrong. She chose him.

"Okay see? I won. What do you guys want me to do?" He prep up out of the couch and helped out Ashton.

"Okay the car just pulled over. Get ready guys." Calum warned us as he saw Christina got out from the car.

"Thanks mom for helping me check out from the hos-" she opens the door.

"SURPRISEEEEE!" We all exclaimed.

She got shocked and then a huge smile from her face appear.

"Guys omg you scare the shit out of me!" She came over and gave us all a group hug.

"We couldn't resist not throwing you a surprise party love." Michael said and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Yeah! You look so much better now!" Ashton hugged her and spun her around the room.

She laughed so hard and she looked happier than ever.

We continued with the party. Lucy dropped by as well. She has gotten closer with the group and I honestly loved it. I loved it when she's around. It makes me smile.

Am I falling for her?

"Hey wanna go for a walk?" Lucy asked as she put down her plastic cup.

"Yeah sure." I smiled and we both walked out.

"The weather is so lovely today." She closed her eyes and breath in the fresh air.

"Haha yeah it has always been like this."

"Sorry I don't usually go out from the house." She looked down at her hands.

"No- it's nothing to be ashamed of. Like I'd told you, socially awkward people last longer in life." I said trying to make her laugh. Which it did.

We stopped at a playground and decided to have a swing off competition.

We each took our seats and got ready.

"Ready?" I exclaims.

"Yes!" She stood as far as possible getting ready to set off.

"Go!" And we both took off.

We swung as high as we could trying to beat each other.

"Now jump!" She screamed and leaps off the sky.

I went after her.

As we landed on the ground, we both groaned and laughed hysterically.

"Omg we are too old for this" she continued to giggle.

I turned so I can face her. Her whole back was on the ground and I was leaning on my side. "You're crazy Lucy, do you know that?" I laughed.

"What can I say." She gave me that smirk and i was going crazy.

I stare at her for awhile before I lean in and kiss her. She hesitated for awhile before deciding to kiss me back. It was slow and passionate. I liked it. It was different from all the other girls I've kissed.

"What was that for?" She said as we both pull away.

"I don't know. But I liked it." I smile.

"Yeah. Me too."

We then sat up and decided to go grab ice cream. "I like you, Lucy." I started.

"I don't know about how you feel about me, but I don't care. I like you. A lot."

"It's funny you know-" she smile and look up at the sky.

"When I saw you moved in 2 years ago, I knew I had a crush on you. But I couldn't say anything cause you're the popular guy and I'm just me. Now 2 years later, we're closer than I could ever imagine, we kissed and you tell me that you like me." Her grin got bigger.

She took my hand and intertwine our fingers together. It fitted perfectly.

She then stopped us and turn infront of me. I looked down at her cause of my height to stare down at her.

"I like you too."

"Good answer." I grinned and kissed her forehead.
