"That was fucking epic! You looked like a complete badass!" I exclaimed as we drove down the street from school.
"Yeah and you were kind of pathetic." Ashlee replied irritated. My mood shifted to ecstactic to puzzled.
"What do you mean?" I asked in a hurt voice.
"Not trying to be a bitch couz but I listened to the whole thing and when I saw it was escalating and not in a good way I got involved. Stick up for yourself and be confident. I mean come on Sasha, I know you can kick some ass. That little cheer bitch just doesnt realize it." Ashlee replied her tone softer than before.
"I just can't think of cool things to say like you IN THE MOMENT. I think of the perfect combacks hours later when the arguement is already over." I sighed. "I called her a bitch though...so..." I said as I stared out the window. My cousin to my rescue but I didn't realize I had looked like such a loser. Ashlee laughed.
"Yeah that's right you did. I guess I'll give you a pass for that." She said approvingly.
"So you're gonna beat her ass tonight at the beach?" I asked still staring out the window.
"No." Ashlee replied. I turned back to look at her shocked.
"What do you mean? That was all for show? You dont look like a badass if you're all talk."
"We're going. But you're going to beat her ass. I'll jump in if one of her stupid ass friends jump in but this is your fight Sasha. You have to put her in her place so she doesn't fuck with you after I leave town." Ashlee finished and was looking at me as we stopped at a red light.
"But I've never fought anyone before!" I exclaimed my eyes wide. Does she want me to embarress myself again? No doubt more people would show up with everyone sending videos to eachother of the confrontation at school.
"You'll be fine. I promise." Ashlee said sincerly as the light turned green and she accelerated. "That is of course if we can manage to sneak out. You're probably gonna be grounded when you get home."
"What now!? Did my dad find the empty bottle or something?" I grumbled. This day just kept getting worse and worse.
"No. I got rid of the evidence this morning when he took you to school. Actually the pigs showed up at your house asking your dad about you when I was leaving to pick you up."
"Pigs?" I asked confused.
"POLICE. Don't know why they're there. I left as your dad invited them inside. I never knew you were such a rebel Sasha. Sneaking boys over, fights at school, and now suprise visits from the police." Ashlee smiled at me mischievesly and proud.
"I know... Apparently someone saw Ty take me home on Thursday and told his girlfriend Jamie, the cheer bitch that tried to start shit with me. Anyways she told her parents last night and they called the police and told them. They're probably wanting me to tell them about what happened when he was with me." I answered. Ashlee slowed down and parked on the side of the road two blocks from my house.
"Obviously you can't tell them what you told me. Not only will your dad fucking flip that you almost got fucked for the first time while he was gone- he'll definitely use that as a reason to get you a babysitter for when he's gone. But your story sounded nuts to me, tell it to the police and they'll put you in the goddamn psych ward." Ashlee was right. I stared down the road feeling anxiety building up in my stomach.
"So what do I say then?" Tears welling up in my eyes.
"Hey don't do that." Ashlee said rubbing my arm, her eyes staring into mine caringly. "It sounds like you have the perfect aliby already circulating around school minus the rumors. Tell them that he gave you a ride home cause you let him borrow your math packet." Ashlee answered.
