BOTH JAKE AND Ace where in detention with me. The idea of being stuck with these two brutes had not popped in my mind at all.
I should be fine but with my EX-MATE and a complete arse together in a room will lead to disaster. I totally did not look forward to spending an hour with them two!
I huffed and signed the log sheet before sitting down in a desk near the front.
The teacher who was supposedly taking care of us was completely knocked out on his desk. In the board he had written, : DO NOT DISTURB. TAKE OUT ANYTHING THAT YOU NEED TO DO LIKE HW.
I rolled my eyes at his stupidity and put my earphones on. Scrolling through my playlists, I found the perfect song for me, R.I.P 2 my youth by The Neighbourhood. I started humming and took out my notebook to draw.
About 4 minutes later, a piece of paper lands in my desk.
In scrawly writing it says, go suck a dick. I knew whose writing this was, so to spite him I wrote "Whose ? ;)" and threw it back.
About a minute later, a shadow comes in front of me. I look up from my notebook to see no one other than Jake.
I ignore him and go back to drawing until he legit grabs my pencil and throws it against the wall. I gasp, my blood getting cold.
I stand up and look at him in the eye, but its kind of hard since he is way taller than me so I have to look up. "What do you want, Jake?"
"I don't like being ignored, especially by a omega bitch like you!" He says, smirking.
"Being an omega is way better than being an arrogant alpha!" I retort back. His smirk falls but goes up again. "And besides, I didn't ignore, I replied to your statement."
"I may be arrogant but I'm still in a higher position than you" He says. "Of course you'd ask whose, you're just a slut like your sister."
My wolf snorts when she hears that, sort of mocking him.
My hand itches to punch him after the remark he said about my sister.
He's weak
I know
He's no alpha, he's a weakling he doesn't deserve his soon to be position
Tell me about it, a rock can lead better than him.
Laughing at myself, I tell Jake to leave me alone, leaving him confused as to why I'm laughing.
Oomph! My back hits a wall and my arms are over my head, pinned against the wall and Jake hovers above me. "Never disrespect me! I am your mate and your Alpha!"
"No, I am not! You did not claim me that day, that night so you have no right to call me your mate! I rather be eaten by rogues than be with you now!" I spit in his face, quickly regretting it as I see anger flashing in his eyes.
"You are right, you are not my mate! I, Jacob Richardson, reject you, Avery Brooks, as mate!" He says.
Tears threaten to spill now but I hold them back and reply back. "I, Avery Brooks, accept your rejection."
I pull myself away from him and walk back to my desk. Ace just stares at me the whole time.
"Dude, that was a low blow" I hear Ace say. Suddenly he has a heart.
