After a while of staring off into the ocean, I began to get bored. I looked around trying to figure out where I was and how to get back to my room. To my right there was bar, to my left a swimming pool. There were people everywhere and I had no idea where to go. I decided to just walk around and see what I could find. On my walk around the boat I passed a fancy resteraunt, a spa, hot tub, and a smoothie bar. Not reconizing any of these places I decided I had to stop and ask someone how to get to my room. I noticed a cute guy working at the smoothie bar and decided that's who I should ask. I walked over and sat myself on top of a stool, waiting for him to come over to me. He turned around from making a smoothie and our eyes locked, I suddenly became very insecure and shifted uncomfortably in my seat. I didn't like the way his attention was all on me, I wanted to run away, but I stayed put. This will be a good vacation Emily. You are going to talk to people and be normal. I reminded myself.

"Hello there, what can I do for you?" He smiled brightly. Wow, he was cute.

"Hi, um, I was just uh, wondering if you could help direct me to my room." I muttered nervously. He ran his fingers through his blonde hair before answering,

"Sure, what room number are you?"

"582"

"Hmm." He hummed tapping his fingers and looking around. "One sec." He said and turned away to go help a real customer that actually was buying a smoothie. He returned quickly and said, "If you walk that way," he pointed to my right, "and go around the corner there will be a door to enter the inside of the boat, in there is where all the rooms are. You are on floor five since your number is 582."

"Thank you so much." I smiled and began to move from my seat.

"Wait." He stopped me, "You sure you don't want a smoothie? I promise they taste amazing." He laughed a bit, showing off that cute smile of his.

"I bet they do, but I don't have my money on me right now, I'll come back."

"Don't worry about it, it's on the house." He winked at me and I froze. On the inside I was secretly freaking out, no guy has ever winked at me before.

"Oh, thanks!" I laughed and he turned around to begin making a smoothie without even asking what I wanted. "What's your name?" I asked bravely.

"Darren, yours?" He said turning around to face me.

"Emily." I answered.

"Cute name." He smiled and then turned back around to finish making my smoothie. Heat rushed into my cheeks and I could feel myself blushing. After a minute of awkward silence he finally handed me my smoothie. It was colored blue so I'm guessing there were blueberries in it. "It's my favorite smoothie, blueberry vanilla, I thought you would like it." I took a sip of the drink, and I did like it.

"Wow this is really good." I giggled, taking another big sip. I stayed at the counter and finished my smoothie while we talked about anything that came to mind, a couple of customers interrupting us here and there. Darren was really sweet and he told me to stop by again sometime.

Finally we said goodbye and I followed Darren's directions to my room where I found my mom unpacking all our stuff.

"Oh thank god your here! I have something crazy to tell you, you aren't going to believe it!" She chirped excitedly.

"What is it?" I questioned, tearing off my high heels and sitting on a bed.

"I've heard from a couple of co-workers that One Direction is on this cruise." As soon as the words left her mouth I froze. My stomach tightened and I felt like I was going to be sick, tears formed in my eyes but I blinked them away. "Are you okay, Emily?" I shook my head and ran my fingers through my hair.
