Monday morning came around faster than I had hoped. I still don't know what happened Friday night. I didn't even drink that much. Even Paige stopped me in the middle of my rant and said she only saw me have one drink. But she didn't remember me talking to anyone.
My mom dropped me off again and I walked right to my locker. Paige said she was coming in late anyway.
As I walked through the halls, I felt eyes on me. I thought I'd get some stares, just because of how popular Brooks and Lauren are, but not this many.
"And she strikes again." I turn around and see that girl Miranda and two other cheerleaders behind her.
"W-what do you mean?"
"Aw girls look how scared and innocent she looks. It's really quite the act Tan. But you didn't look so innocent on Friday." She held up the phone and I almost fainted. My jaw basically hit the floor as she flipped through pictures on her phone.
Of me.
Naked.
"Where did you get these?" I tried yelling my it came out a whisper. How did this happen? My head felt heavy.
"Oh so many people sent me pictures. It's the only thing people are talking about. I guess you just really like whoring it up."
"That's enough Miranda." I look up. Brooks was standing off to the side with some of his teammates.
'Oh defending your slut? Wow Brooks, you really want Lauren back don't ya?" Miranda smirked at him. His jaw clenched.
"This has nothing to do with her. But you don't need to give Tanner shit. Leave her alone. Josh really isn't into drama." She pursed her lips together and muttered something under her breath before stomping away.
I still couldn't believe those pictures.
"T-thanks Brooks. You didn't need to do that." I said. I felt the tears coming, and I was trying so hard not to start crying in the middle of the hallway.
He shrugged. "Don't mention it. Sorry you have to get shit from them. And sorry whatever happened this weekend. I know you're still young but you really need to know how much you're drinking."
"That's the thing Brooks, I only had one drink. I don't understand how I blacked out."
"Shit. Who's house was it?"
"Jay Dawson's."
"Yeah I heard some shit went down. I'll see if I find anything out, that's not right. I can be an asshole, but that's too much." I felt a sense of relief, at least other people know it was a bad night for everyone and not just me.
"Thanks, I really appreciate it." He gave my a tight hug, and it felt so nice, just for a friendly face and attention.
He suddenly let go and kinda threw me off of him. I looked up at him and saw he was looking down the hall. I turn my head, and there she was Lauren, who had stopped in her tracks, on the verge of tears. Could this day get any worse?
"Lauren, not it's not like that."
"Yeah I'm sure." She passed us, purposely bumping her shoulder into Brooks.
"Sorry," I said, rubbing my temples.
"Nah, it's my fault.

It felt like everyone at Springfield knew about Friday night except for me. I walked through the halls and heard whispers and saw the looks of peoples faces.
I skipped lunch and went to my study hall in the library.
I sat down and pulled out one of my homework assignments to start working on.
"Can I sit?" I looked up and saw Lauren.
"I really really don't need someone else calling me a whore today. Can you just wait till tomorrow?" I snapped. She looked taken back a bit. I felt bad. I didn't mean to snap at her. Her of all people I can't be a bitch to.
"I'm not going to." She put her stuff down.
"Oh. Ok."
"Look, I saw the pictures, and heard some stuff. I'm sorry that happened to you." I looked up at her. She looked genuinely concerned.
"You don't need to be nice to me. I know I messed it up with you and Brooks."
"It's not just your fault. And that doesn't give anyone the right to say anything to you about it, even me, even Miranda. I heard what she said to you. That's not okay." The relief I felt was indescribable.
"You have no idea how much that means to me. That you so much." She gave me a small smile.
"Don't mention it."
