[twenty three ; the film]
SHAKY HANDS IN POSSESSION of masking tape, the amount of force used to press the tool down onto her victim's mouth to block any form of sound to escape seemed dubious and rather tenuous. it wasn't regret was it? she looked down at the unconscious body before her, her so called best friend, chained down to a wooden rocking chair that was intentionally positioned in front of the tv. it would seem the perpetrator had some doubts, seeing as the sweat dripping down between her eyebrows, her unsteadiness, constant trembling and unusual slow pace were linked to hesitation. could she have a conscious after all? after a few minutes of hesitation, this wasn't the case. she was reminded her love for hyunjin was stronger than some friendship when she decided to play a dedicated homemade film for hei ryung.
by the time hei ryung woke up, the first thing her eyes opened to was the horrific documentary of the recent events of hyunjin's life playing out before her. this included a tour of his home when hyunjin wasn't there, his basketball practices after school, moments where he slept, lists of his favourite restaurants and even the detailed backstories of his past and those around him. she was also forced to watch her home being invaded, vandalised and trifled with for the sake of revenge and the 'behind the scenes' of plotting to harm minho and seungmin.
hei ryung became hysterical. screaming and struggling through the chains that tied her arms and ankles followed after her tears fell incessantly. myung hee was observantly standing behind her, lowering the volume until the only noise to be heard in the room was hei ryung's whimpers through the tape, the chair violently rocking back and fourth and the scuffling of chains from her endeavour to break free.
after the film had ended, myung hee smirked at the presumption of successfully psychological traumatising hei ryung, assuming that her plan for her 'best friend' to stay away from hyunjin will soon work. bringing a blindfold to hei ryung's eyes before she could turn around to see her, she tightened the cloth and whispered in her ear, "i'll make sure you never forget tonight, after all we did warn you."
the adrenaline rush of finally taking action, the betrayal and sacrifice for love, myung hee felt refreshed as if she was the main character in a romantic soap opera. she had wished her friend didn't have to be her target, hurting hei ryung wasn't entirely entertaining but the goal was what mattered most.
now that she was done messing about, she had dearly missed hyunjin and figured a brief visit down to the basement was rewardingly suitable. reaching for the doorknob, her right eye twitched upon seeing it turn before she had grabbed it. she took a step back, there was a twinge of uneasiness forming in her gut, she knew it was someone that wasn't supposed to be here.
once the door flung open, there stood minho and seungmin, weaponless yet standing there triumphantly as if they had won the lottery. seungmin couldn't contain his excitement, he had managed to track the ip address of sarah's phone, which helped him manipulate her internet service provider, giving him access to her browsing history, emails, online activity, messages and deleted conversations. this meant allowing him to find out the relationship between her, myung hee and lianne thus leading him here.
minho on the other hand, had investigated the school's security system, searching for whoever had caused his injury. in order to do so, he threatened the school that he'd sue them and cause a scene for allowing his perpetrator to get away with his assault if they didn't allow him to view the security tape. it was a tough argument, the conditions that had to be met prevented minho from keeping the original tape but it didn't matter. hyunjin had told minho before sarah's party to entrust seungmin with all the technological concerns, and he advised minho to surreptitiously inject his usb into the security mainframe. he learnt two things that day, first, the principal didn't care much for his students and second, seungmin was in fact a genius. he downloaded all the relevant clips and they figured who the stalker was.
"step away from her now!" minho yelled, each step closer towards hei ryung meant a step back for myung hee.
she was devastated. seeing her ex made something inside her snap. he brought back memories of failed romance (which she wasn't going to let happen again) that remained indelible and traumatic. he broke her heart, she could never face him properly.
"don't come near! i mean it!"
minho approached hei ryung carefully and cautiously removed the masking tape and the cloth over her eyes. "don't panic, i'm here."
myung hee screams as minho helps hei ryung out of her chains. bringing out her phone from her pocket, she dials lianne's number in a state of distress.
"lianne, come upstairs now, we have a situation."—————
sooooooo the stalkers are revealedddd!!! what's the story behind this teamwork? hahahahhah wait until next time also i'm so glad some of yous asked about minho and seungmin, of courseeee they were coming back
