Sam sat and watched me finish breakfast from the other end of the table. He had his head rested on his hand as he gazed at me. "I don't feel like I know you that well yet." He exclaimed once I finished the last mouthful of bacon. I placed my hands on the table and sunk into the chair, ready for the full on explanation of Mr. Sam Harrington. "Well, I go to the College of music where I study, unsurprisingly, music. I work in Starbucks where I'm hit on a lot, but I stay grounded. My best friend, Corey, works there and studies there too. However! We both work part time and we spend only mondays and thursdays at the college. What do we do In our spare time do you ask? Well, let me show you." He stood up from his chair and took me by the hand, leading me back upstairs into a room in between the bathroom and his bedroom. It was labelled 'the room in which no one should ever go in unless instructed to'. This made me slightly nervous, especially considering he had tied a black scarf around my eyes so I was made blind. I could hear the click of the door opening and the soft carpet under my feet as we entered. "We're here. Just let me get your blindfold." I could feel his fingers fumble to untie the knot. As the blindfold dropped an unexpected sight met my eyes.
I was surrounded by six different high quality guitars, a silver microphone, seven Marshalls amps, three laptops, a computer, speakers, a sonor drum kit and several pairs of headphones. Not to mention the wall covered in Angus Young, Bon Scott, Brian Johnson, Malcolm Young and Cliff Williams. This boy was an ACDC fanatic and I absolutely loved it! "You're into ACDC? I love them!" I looked at him in amazement and he looked me back with the same expression. "I don't just love them, Lottie Rose." He walked into the middle of the room and grabbed one of the six guitars and proceeded to play out the clear riff of 'Thunderstruck'. "I'm in a highly dedicated ACDC tribute band. We have a gig on tomorrow night in the hall down the street. Care to come? You and Skye can get free tickets if you want?" I looked at him, speechless, I had never got free tickets to see even a tribute band! "Yeah, that is, if she's finished with last night's boy. Who are all the guys in the band?" I was now probably more excited to see them play than In This Moment that I actually for one crazy moment considered selling them so I could hear the guys practice. Carefully, he placed the guitar back next to the others and took out a photo of them together. "The drummer, is called James, he's creepy, but cool. The bassist is Lewis, he too, is creepy as hell, but he is exceedingly hilarious. The lead singer is called Adam, he's just plain awesome, he is a bit of a man whore though, so Skye is most likely to get with him. However! Our Angus, is as single as your last rolo! It's Corey. I'm the mere guitarist that stands on the opposite side of the stage from Lewis and whom Corey often comes and head bangs with." I remained speechless, this was too awesome. I excused myself to sit down in his chair, on one of the walls was a full rail, complete with velvet shorts, a velvet blazer and a tie. There was also ripped denim jackets and jeans. "And all of them, barr you and James have long, legit, rockers hair." He nodded vigorously, frozen in a smile. I shrunk down into the chair, absorbing the awesomeness. My new love interest was beyond hot, he made the best coffee, he liked to read and he was in an ACDC tribute band. He was the definition of 'the man of my dreams'. After a few deep sighs, my phone rang and I raced into the bedroom to answer it.
"Hey babe!" Skye shrilly spoke. "You ready for tonight? Even though it is only eight in the morning? You still with Romeo?" I rolled my eyes, only quickly just incase she sensed it or something. "Yeah, he's given us free tickets to see his ACDC tribute band perform at the hall down the street tomorrow night." I could hear Skye's clear reaction to the the fact that I obviously had the better choice in men. "Awesome. What are their names? Are any of them single? I'll get to meet them right?" By "them" , I knew she was referring to the band members. I looked at Sam who was looking at me. My eyes softly switched into a mesmerised gaze and I was suddenly pulled back into consciousness when Skye yelled down the phone, making me jump. "Um. Yeah. There's James, Lewis, Adam, Corey and Sam. Sam's mine, but Adam is a man whore and Corey is single and ready to mingle." I heard Skye jump on the bed excitedly, screaming. "Will I meet them tonight?" She half shouted. Sam could hear her loud voice so he mouthed 'Lewis and Adam.' I repeated the names to Skye and she squealed before blowing me a telepathic kiss goodbye and hanging up.
I assumed that she was just going to stay at the room and wait for me to never return, but to stay with Sam for the rest of my life. I slammed the phone on his desk and turned to Sam who was still keenly staring at me with wide, blue eyes. "I never got the name." I declared upon the realisation. He sighed and sat back, letting his eyes drift away from me. "We don't actually have a set name yet. We have a banner ready, we just need a concrete name." He twiddled his thumbs in deep thought and looked up at me sharply. "Oh my. Lottie, you genius." He walked over to me quickly and kissed me on the forehead whilst reaching for his phone. He waited for a few seconds for the opponent in the conversation, later discovered to be Adam, to answer. "Adam, we have a name. Whole Lotta Lottie. I'll explain tonight." He hung up straight away and lovingly enveloped me with a hug. He named his band after me.
