This was going to be a doozy. I sat in the same room for a good hour, trying to figure out how to go about talking to everyone. Explaining the situation was going to be tough but the proposal was going to be even tougher. This could go either right or horribly wrong.
Only one way to find out.
I gathered up my courage to leave the room and go find the princes. The ballroom was filled with chatter and music. The princes were scattered around the floor, all of them done dancing with Ava. How convenient.
The closest prince was Tianos who was speaking with a server. I tapped his shoulder and gestured him to lean closer to me so he could hear me over the noise. "Meet me in the fourth study room in ten minutes, please. There is something important I have to say."
Tianos nodded and went back to his conversation with the server. Next, I headed towards where Aries are entertaining some younger kids. I smiled as he lifted his arms up, two little girls hanging on each one. I felt bad that I had to spoil their fun. "Aries, could you meet me in the fourth study room in ten minutes please?"
"Sure thing, Rion." He promised. He resumed playing with the children once I left to hunt down another prince.
Blaise and Cinder were talking together near the dessert table. I stepped into their conversation circle and cleared my throat. "There is a meeting being held in the fourth study room in ten minutes. Please be present at the meeting."
They both shared the same look of confusion but agreed anyways. I bowed and left, making them talk about what the meeting could be about.
Snowen was silently sitting away from all of the people. I could tell that he wanted to be anywhere else but here. I could use that to my advantage. "There's gonna be a meeting in about ten minutes in study room four. You can head over there now for some peace and quiet if you want."
"What's the meeting about?" He inquired.
"That's a surprise. The other princes with be there soon, so hurry up on over there if you want a moment of silence." I answered, already weaving my way through the crowd to find Jasem.
"Rion, what's up?"Jasem greeted. He stepped away from the ladies he was speaking to. I waved at the ladies who were giggling and gossiping.
"Hey. I need you to head to study room four in about ten minutes for a meeting. It's not something you want to miss. Got it?" I explained.
Jasem's eyes sparkled, clearly intrigued. "Loud and clear. Meet you in ten!"
He returned to the ladies who were already questioning him about our little talk.
The last man I needed to talk to was Mun-Wah. He was probably still in his room. Finding him shouldn't be a hassle. I left the room to begin my walk towards him room. In no time flat I was standing at his door, knocking and patiently waiting for a response.
The door swung open and I met a dressed up Mun-Wah. I was surprised that he actually decided to go to the ball after all. "Rion! I thought you were busy overlooking the party. Pardon my appearance. I haven't finished getting ready yet."
I chuckled a little. "Trust me, you look fine. Anyways, I came to tell you that there's a meeting that going to start in about seven minutes from now in the fourth study room. The other princes are going to be there too."
He frowned. "Is this going to be about who Princess Ava chooses to be her husband? Because if it is I rather not attend if possible."
"No, it's about something else but not too far off. This meeting should be a lot more pleasant. Will you be there?" I responded.
