(Papers scuffling, crowd muttering)
IVAN PETROV: Ahem... Attention.
(Silence from crowd)
IVAN PETROV: Let me get straight to point... I know why you all are here. According to great leader, The Grestin checkpoint will open November twenty-third.
(Muttering from crowd)
IVAN PETROV: The labor lottery has declared who inspector will be.
PRESS MEMBER: Why would we appoint untrained person to man a new point?
AARON GRUBER: You dare question the labor lottery?
(Angry muttering from crowd)
IVAN PETROV: Due to current political turmoil, the border will be Arstotzkans only.
MAN: This is not fair. Arstotzka relies on foreigners for their dirty work!
IVAN PETROV: The government has informed me this is not permanent. The Six-Year War has impacted Arstotzka in many ways. One being bias toward foreigners. This is all I am obliged to reveal. No more questions. Good night and Glory to Arstotzka.
(Crowd muttering)
