happiness doesn't last long

Asano's POV:

I sat there on my bed for about an hour just staring at my phone trying to write a freaking text, why the hell is this so hard, it's supposed to be just a normal text, like a hey or what's up but who am I kidding this isn't a normal text and I know it, I felt something when he pecked my cheek, I felt so calm but so fucking nervous at the same time that it kills me, I don't want to hurt him if he's expecting something more from me, I can't do this to him, I really hope he's just being friendly but do I really?...

Haru's POV:

shit he still hasn't texted me, maybe I should be the one to start this conversation, okay fuck it if he's not making a first move then I'll do it, I'm just going to send a hey, nothing too much, and to my surprise he didn't take long to see it or respond, I sighed in relief, we chatted for a long time before deciding to just hang out somewhere, we decided to go to an arcade then get some food, seems normal enough, I just don't want it to seem like I'm just desperate to hang out with him but I am, he's so freaking cute, his eyes captured me and I helplessly let them, he seems heart broken, and a broken heart is nothing but an easy mission for me, he definitely doesn't seem to deserve to be in pain, I think he's just a good person stuck in a bad place, anyways I should get ready, my plan will have to wait for a while...

Nagisa's POV:

Karma and I were in the kitchen making some food, I said with a sigh: babe, I think Asano stayed behind yesterday, I'm scared, what if something happened to him?, he said: don't worry babe, I think he can take care of himself, I said: but he has this habit of getting really drunk, and I hate it and I don't even know how he gets them to sell him alcohol but he somehow does, fuck it I'm gonna call him wait a minute babe, I jumped off of the counter top and walked out of the kitchen, I grabbed my phone and sat on the couch, I dialed his number and waited, he answered not too long after, I said excitedly: Asano, you're okay?, thank god, I had a bad feeling about last night and leaving you alone and stuff, he said: I'm okay, I promise I just got a little tipsy but I had a friend with me so I was fine, I said: I still don't approve of this, but I'm glad you weren't on your own, he said: thank you for checking on me, and I hate to cut this short but I have something to do so can I call you later?, I said: yeah sure, call me when you're done I miss talking to you, he said with a chuckle: okay I'll call you bye, we both hung up and I sighed I was relieved he was okay, but not happy about the fact that he got drunk, anyways I should go back and help Karma in the kitchen, I said as I walked back in the kitchen: I checked on him he's okay, do you need any help?, he said: well I realized we need a few things from the store, I need to make a quick run there, I said: it's okay I'll go babe, he said: are you sure about it?,I nodded reassuring him, as I went outside, grabbed the keys then left the house...

Asano's POV:

I got dressed as I collected my stuff, I left the house, and walked to where we were supposed to meet, when I got there, I looked around the street searching for a familiar pair of eyes, soon I found them, I walked towards him with a smile, we both greeted each other, as we walked in the arcade, I realized the fact that I suck at these games, I had to say something about it, I said awkwardly coughing: well listen, I kind of didn't think this through, I can't really play anything, I suck at everything, he said with a smirk: well that's the fun of it, you just goof around not knowing anything, and don't worry about it I don't know how to play either, that was a lie, the first game we played, he had won in the span of two minutes, I said with light smile:"I don't know how to play either", and I quote your exact words, he said: well I don't consider that good, I chuckled then said: fine, you said messing up is supposed to be fun and to be honest I'm enjoying it, so I'll let you continue crushing me in all of these games, thank you for bringing me here, I haven't had fun in a while, he said with a smile: well I'm glad you are having fun, I'll be more than glad to beat you in every game here, at least if you won't be a sore loser, I said with a smirk: well now you're just getting way to confident, I can still beat you at a few things, he said: well let's see that in action, he pulled me by my arm to the next game, we just continued playing a game after the other, after about two hours, we were both exhausted and hungry, we just found the closest restaurant, and ordered food as we sat chatting about random stuff, he asked: I just realized I never asked you how old you were?, I said: I'm 17, soon to be 18, how old are you?, he said: I'm twenty one, wow you really don't look that young, I said: is that supposed to be a compliment because if it is then thank you, he chuckled then said: I think so, but it's more of the fact that you look cute, I lightly grinned then said: thank you for that, he said with a smirk: you're welcome, my phone buzzed in my pocket, I got it out, I rolled my eyes as I saw who was calling me, I answered and asked: what do you want?, his voice was shaking, he mumbled some stuff I couldn't make out, I asked again: what is it Karma?, he said barely getting the words out: he's gone...
