A reason to live.

Chapter 4

“How are you so sure and hopeful that such a guy exists in real??” Krystle asked. oh!! that was one question I've asked myself a number of times. Since I like films I used a filmy technique and since I trusted in God more than anything else I consider God like an older brother as I respect him and at times I just talk to God as a friend so I asked Him also for clues.

“Krys one day I didn't get a text from anyone for a long time, so I just spoke and kind of made a deal with God saying that however soon I receive a text, that much sure I'll be that the guy for me is there and you know what!!, Krys, my phone beeped immediately. I was so happy that day, I also tried that 'he's there, he's not there' thing with flowers and it came that he's there and many times I do this - when I am waiting in the signal....I tell God «If he's there I'll not have to wait another signal» I do a lot of these things just to test if I'm on the right path and always it says that he's there." I said all this with so much excitement that my hands were moving in the air and I was jumping about and Krys was so excited that she didn't know what to say.

She looked at her watch as it was getting chilly out here and screamed so loud, that my ear drums almost bursted.“oh God!! how did it take so much time?? what will I do now?? you stay right here.” she warned me, I looked at the watch and saw that it was 11:50 pm. It still didn't strike me as to why Krys was screaming, I was just thinking of all that I had told her and how scared I was to tell her thinking that she might not understand what I felt and here she was making me feel so right about all this just being there and respecting all my thoughts.

I was cut off from my thoughts by Krys who came and put a thin ribbon over my eyes and took me Inside. I kept on asking her "what are you doing? You are crazy Krys" “Ya ya, I'm crazy and you are not right? crazy woman you are" Krys said as she removed the ribbon.

I was shocked and then it struck me that it was my birthday, Krys had bought a rainbow cake as it was my favorite and on the cake were pictures of all our friends, and they all were right in front of me, OMG!! Sara you forgot your birthday?? Payal  screamed while I just smiled while biting my tongue and “ok leave all that our mouths are watering, please make a wish and cut the cake" Akila said pointing to the cake, I always wished that my Jun is a good human being and is happy in whatever he does, after cutting the cake we sang songs, actually rhymes and danced a while, spoke about various things from ghosts to our childhood  memories. This was different from my other birthdays as all were here this time and finally at around 2:30am we decided to sleep.
