It had been an hour since I woke up. The pain in my head was less this time and the familiar room kind of felt comfortable now. But the only difficulty was that I couldn't remember anything. And I didn't want to because it was hurting my head.
The nurse was kind enough to bring me food when I said I was hungry. She rushed outside and brought sandwiches and apple juice. It wasn't the most appetizing meal, but it somehow filled me up and I was satisfied.
As I was waiting for the doctor to arrive, I looked at my surroundings. There was nothing special in the room. And it made my chest hurt to find myself alone in such a situation. I was confused and scared.
Just then the doctor arrived with a wide smile on his face. He was tall and had ebony colored hair and his eyes had a sparkle in them that portrayed his genuine happiness. I didn't know whether to greet him or not, so I stayed quite.
He sat on the metallic seat beside my bed. He nodded towards one of the nurses who started preparing the syringe.
The doctor took my hand in his and checked my pulse. He did his job with utmost sincerity and I couldn't help but focus on him. It was calming but it felt different. Like I wanted to experience a different kind of calmness. A kind that I felt I had experienced before.
"Good thing, you're recovering." He flashed a smile and I had no other options to smile back at him.
"Do you remember anything?"
I didn't. I wanted to say no but my throat felt dry and no word came out. So I just nodded my head.
"I need you to speak."
I cleared my throat and answered him.
"No."
"Do you know your name?"
"Ahn...Miso."
He smiled at me, pleased.
"Do you know your parents name?"
"Ahn...Jungsoo and Ahn...Yuna."
"Do you know your fiance's name?"
My fiance?
I don't remember anyone. I tried but I couldn't remember anyone. As I tried harder, the headache returned and I started crying due to frustration and confusion.
"Do you rememb-"
"I don't remember anyone.!"
I snapped and began crying harder.
"I think you should rest."
The doctor stood up and left the room.
The nurse gave me a medicine which calmed me down. And soon I found myself drifting off to sleep.

Seokjin's p.o.v.
She was recovering so well. But this new obstacle could bring us back to square one. Her injury was so severe, we had to spend 2 months just to stabilize her and wait for another month , for her to come out of the coma. And now that she's back, the results aren't that great.
I called up her parents to give them the news.
Her parents arrived after few minutes and they rushed into the room with tears welling up in their eyes. It was a miserable scene in front of me. I asked them to sit down and prepared myself to give them the , rather heartbreaking news.
"Mr. and Mrs. Ahn, I have a good and a bad news. "
The hope of something good happening brought a spark in their faces. And a smile crept on the lady's face.
"Miso is awake..."
They started crying because of happiness. I was scared to tell them the news.
"But....I suppose...she has been diagnosed with partial amnesia."
"She won't remember anything?"
"It doesn't work like that. She will remember some parts of her life, her childhood, school, college, time spent with family and friends, certain encounters and even the unfortunate accident. But all these memories will be at the back of her mind, clouded. But when reminded about them , she will either be conscious of those memories or it maybe harmful regarding her recovery."
"But how will we know?"
"She just needs to be in a regular check-up for about a month or two, to know exactly what's healthy for her and what triggers those memories to come back in a subtle manner."
"And after that will she be alright?"
"She will. But we'll have to be careful with what we say. As for now, I suppose we shouldn't tell her about that night or even her fiance."
"But they had been friends since childhood. How could she forget him?"
"We don't know ma'am. But when I mentioned him to her, she started having the headache again. I will suggest you to be patient because her recovery is all that matters."
"And what if she doesn't?"
"She will."
"WHAT IF!? I'm sorry. What if she doesn't recover the way we want her to? Do you have any other plan?"
"Yes, but I would suggest not to use it."
"Tell us. If it helps out our daughter, we are ready for it."
"We would have to put her in induced amnesia. Wiping out all memories of that night and even the probable existence of Jimin. It will not be easy, because if anything, any small thing, related to him comes up, we will be in a risk to lose her as well."
"Then what should we do in that case?"
"I would say , cut out all your connections with Jimin's family, with his friends, and if necessary, keep her away from the cities that have the biggest place in her heart. That being Seoul and Busan."
