I was walking down the lane on a beautiful evening, going back home after a walk. It was peaceful and calm. Walking had always helped me to clear out my mind and the fresh air just lightened up my mood.

I was crossing the park when I saw a puppy lying in a box wrapped up in a pink blanket. It was innocent and cute. The person who decided to leave it, did wrong. Being an animal doesn't mean that it doesn't have any feelings.

I picked him up carefully in my arms and patted his head. He looked at me with his dark shiny eyes and wagged his tail, as if he wanted to say that he was ready to go with me.

But I seriously had no idea if Jin Oppa would allow me to keep it.

Ever since we moved to Daegu, Oppa decided to come along with us. He treated me as his little sister but was actually my doctor. But in those days when I wasn't allowed to move out of the house, he would sit with me in my room and play video games or tell me his lame jokes when eomma would scold me. His jokes were lame but his laugh somehow made me smile. It was sincere and extremely funny at the same time. He had told me about my condition. After that accident, I forgot everything. That night we were going to visit my uncle but ended up in an unfortunate accident. Ever since that, Jin always stops me from reading my own diary. It's so tempting. But I know he does it for my own good. He fears that the memories would trigger something and affect my health. So I usually kept myself away from the diary.

But even though I had Jin, I felt kind of lonely. The puppy would help me out from this loneliness I suppose.

"Eommaa! I'm back!"

She came rushing out of the kitchen and hugged me ever so tightly. She never liked the idea of me going out alone.

"Eomma...I have a guest with me."

I was holding the poor puppy behind my back or else he would have been squished between us.

My mom hurriedly tried to look behind me towards the living room, asking me who was the guest, when I held up the puppy in front of my face trying to hide behind it, from my mother's anger.
But to my surprise, she was not angry. She was shocked, I suppose. Her mouth was slightly open and her eyes were big. She looked as if she was scared.

"What happened ma?"

"Nothing.. he just looks like Su-won."

Su-won?

Who?

"NO! Nothing Miso!" Jin just barged into the room out of nowhere. He gave my mother a look and took me inside. I don't exactly know what that was supposed to mean ,but it sure was something related to me.

He made me sit on my bed. I was patting the little puppy continuously. Jin was worried for some reason and I was just sitting there with a small creature in my hand, contemplating whether I should ask him about anything or not.

After a few minutes he stopped pacing around the room and came and sat beside me with concern in his eyes.

"Do you feel any pain? In your head, your chest, or do you feel uncomfortable?"

"Well, I don't feel any pain , specifically, but I am a bit uncomfortable."

"Tell me! Is your breathing alright?" He started examining me holding one of my hands trying to check my pulse and I had nothing else to do but laugh a little.

"Oppa! I'm fine. It's just that all of you are kind of shocked. And that is what is making me uncomfortable."

He relaxed for a bit and stood up. He smiled at me but his smile didn't take a long time to fade away.
