Seokjin's p.o.v.

I knew he was hiding something. The color of his face just drained off just so simply. But why. Why would he do something like this? This is why they had insisted on bringing her here. So that even if Jimin was able to come back, he would not have been able to find them. But why? It would have been so much easier for Miso to know that Jimin is still alive. But because we took a hasty step at inducing her to something so strong, it would be really harmful for her brain to process everything.

My mind was exploding from the inside thinking about the ways I could change everything but no, I got no answer. I also informed some of the other hospitals about this case so that I might get some help from them. But sitting here, with nothing in my hands was wrecking me.

"Hyung what are you thinking?"

"I'm thinking about what to do now."

"Can't we just let Jimin talk to her?"

"And after that?"

"I don't know."

I was already stressed and on top of that this kid was annoying me.

"Well I thought about something." He spoke up quietly.

"Now what do you have to say?"

"You had induced her to amnesia saying Jimin is dead?"

"Yes, sort of."

"Sort of?"

"She had partial amnesia. We used medication and drugs making her believe that he is dead, so that the treatment could be proceeded without any harm."

"Can't we do that again?"

"Do what again?"

"If the chemicals can take her forget something, is it possible that it will help her to remember as well?"

Why didn't I think of it before? I stood up and squeezed Taehyung between my arms. I could finally think about something.

"Taehyung-ah, you're really annoying. But you're a genius."

He smiled widely making me smile as well.

"Come on, let's go and see if she's alright."

...

"I've checked all her vitals. Everything is stable."

"Will the new treatment have any negative effect on her health?"

"It shouldn't but there might be a possibility. We are subjecting her brain to artificial change. It might resist ."

I told them about the new change and what we were planning to do further. It wasn't an easy task but it would be a better way for Miso. The memories haven't vanished from her brain. They were deep seated inside. And everytime we resist it, it will be harmful for her if she is reminded of them in any point of time. Now that Jimin was alive , the risk of making her remember everything could be taken. But her father's words still lingered in my head. And I needed to get answers in order to help her.

"Uncle? Can you meet me today? We have to make some changes in Miso's treatment and we need the consent."

"Yes alright. We'll be there."

...

His face turned blank as I told him that Jimin was alive and was staying in Daegu.

"I'm happy he's alive."

"But you don't look happy. Well nevermind. We are changing her treatment a bit  and for that we'll have to tell her why she was subjected to such a change. That being why Jimin was missing."

"Why does he need to be involved in everything!? Can't you just do something to keep him out of our lives!?"

"Why do you hate him so much when he can actually save your daughter's life? Or you don't care at all?"

He was quite for a moment.

"I care. And that's why I don't want him near her. After all she's in this condition because of him."

"She's in this condition because of the accident."

"No. If she hadn't decided to marry him, this would never had happened!"

"So this why you liked to him about Miso getting married? This is why you insisted on this treatment!?"

No words came out of his mouth. He knew he had no other option but to tell the truth and end the game he was playing with his own daughter. But he was being an idiot and trying to hide the truth.

"If you don't tell me the reason why you don't want him to be around Miso, then I'll have to press charges against you. I have talked to Jimin and I am aware of what you have done."

His face went pale as he was shocked and terrified at this point.  I had to say this to him even if I don't have any power to bring him down. He was stronger than me. He had his own business and I was just a doctor. But somehow this worked against him and he got frustrated.

"What are you even going to do against me. You have nothing."

"I am the one who can save your daughter, sir. But because of your stubbornness here, I can't do anything but see her dying."

He cared about her. I had no doubt. But without Jimin , this treatment can't succeed. There was a huge amount of chemical running through her bloodstream just to alter the reality inside her brain. But it was damaging her and the only solution was to let her go through the reality. It could be fatal, but there were better chances of her recovery. At this rate her mind and body will get exhausted, between what was true and what was not.

"Okay. I'll tell you everything. But make sure my daughter will be alright."

He sighed and sat down on the chair.
