Spring's P.O.V
The night had approached and there I was sat on the dresser, fully dressed, trying to figure out a way to calm myself down since my heart felt like it was about to pump out of my chest. Sitting at my mirror was a way to challenge myself, it was like my reflection was telling me to promise, promise that no matter what happened after this performance I will stay true to myself, I will go on to be the same, amazing person that I have been my whole life, if he leaves, then I know that our friendship was not meant to be. Walking downstairs to the kitchen, I grabbed a healthy snack, since I had to leave soon.
Once I was done, I walked into the living room where my parents sat.
"Hey mom! I'm ready for my performance!" I said, enthusiastically.
"Honey! You look beautiful!" She squealed as she spun me around, getting a better view of me.
My father came up behind me, giving me a huge hug.
"You're gonna do great honey!" He smiled widely.
"Thank you, daddy."
I hugged my dad tightly and left the house with them both by my side.
As we drove to the school I played with my fingers, a common thing I did when I was nervous. I knew when I stepped foot on that stage I'd let all my troubles slip away. The music will carry me home, it always does. Arriving to the school, I said goodbye to my parents before walking quickly to the auditorium and going backstage with all the other performers. My phone rang in my pocket, slightly startling me.
Unlocking my phone, I looked at the text.
H- I'm here.
Smiling, I peaked through the curtains to scan the crowd for him.
H- Don't be nervous, btw, you're gonna smash it.
The last chorus group before my performance was on stage and I began to feel my stomach flip and flutter, in a cool way though.
The crowd clapped and the chorus group left the stage and soon after, my chorus teacher was introducing me.
"I'm here to welcome you one of the most dedicated students in my class, this being her first year involved in my choir, she has been working so hard on this song that she is so happy to deliver to you tonight! Please welcome Spring Evermore!"
The crowd clapped and before I knew it I was walking on stage and the music was starting.

Harry's P.O.V
She walked on the stage looking as beautiful as ever with that darned smile on her face. The music started as she hummed through the microphone.
This feeling's so alien
Need to know if you're just a friend
Are you a secret I'm holding in?
She sang confidently through the microphone as she smiled widely at the crowd.
So leave it on my brain if you feel the same
Light, but I notice it
Don't know the rules but I got to win
The paranoia is sinking in
So leave it on my brain if you feel the same
I listened to the lyrics closely as she sang it, the beat of the song was infectious as the people around me bopped their heads.
Ooh, let me discover all of your colors
If you love me let me know
No, no, let me discover all of your colors
If you love me let me know
Don't let me leave when I'm standing at your door
Don't make me stop when you're really wanting more
