Spring's P.O.V
The first hour passed with me and my sister telling our inside jokes and me shamelessly cackling at them. I could probably be heard throughout this whole building but I didn't really care. When Harry heard my laugh his reactions were surprisingly not disgust, instead it was wide smiles that sometimes turned into matching laughter that made my mom and everyone in the room laugh.
Me and Harry currently we're coloring to pass the time. I colored Dora as he colored Diego.
He chuckled as we did this, saying, "It's funny cause they're dating too."
I narrowed my eyes at him. "You uncultured swine, they are cousins. You're honestly repulsive and I don't know if I'll be able to go on."
He rolled his eyes humorously before a man with sparkly blue eyes and beautiful facial structure walked in and greeted us soon after introducing himself.
"Good morning everyone. Everythin' okay?"
Everybody said yes as he smiled in satisfaction.
"Good to hear. Now who are the parents?"
My mother and father raised their hands and the man gave them paperwork that they began to fill out.
"So what are we getting done today?" He asked.
"A suture of the AV flap on the left foot." I briefly explained.
"Great, now I'm familiar with the family. You are the Evermore's if I'm correct eh?"
"Yes."
"Any allergies?"
"No."
"Anything-"
"No sir. No loose teeth, or braces. Scars that I have are all surgical and the last time I ate was yesterday night around nine. Come on doc, you know this."
He chuckled. "I see you have kept your wittiness through the years. Now I was going to explain the process of inserting a tube down your throat, but I'm assuming you already know so I will see you in the O.R missy."
I laughed as he shook my parent's hands and left the room, flashing me a smile.
Harry's phone rang suddenly and Niall's name flashed across the screen. He declined the call, smiling at me widely as his phone vibrated in his lap.
"You can pick up the phone, H." I teased him.
"Thank you. I'll be right back." He pecked my forehead before pushing back the curtains that separated us from the receptionist desk. I heard his deep voice say hello before it faded off in the distance. I shifted my glance over to my parents and noticed my dad and sister dozing off as my mom walked to the side of my bed caressing my head softly.
"Hungry?"
"Mama. I almost forgot about that."
"Sorry cherie."
"It's okay. Just a little longer."
Harry walked back in soon after with a nurse behind him with what I had seen many times before.
"Alright. This is just some juice to make you feel relaxed before you go under." I nodded and took the small cup from her hand before drinking the bittersweet liquid.
I immediately felt my body relax as the urge to lay down took over. I felt my head melt into the pillow as I tried to keep my breathing steady.
