Spring's P.O.V
I tossed and turned before I groaned, waking up. The first week of summer was here and that meant sleeping all day in my house alone. I think this time would be good for me, I could use this to finish my poems, maybe spontaneously write a novel or two. I felt my phone vibrate next to me. Tossing my comforter around I grabbed my phone seeing a call from Tammy."Hey T!" I greeted.
"Hey Spring, whatcha doin?"
"Nothing. At all." I said, my expression blunt.
"Good. I'm coming to pick you up. Get ready!"
Before I could say anything I heard a tone, meaning she had already hung up. My phone vibrated once again and I groaned, picking it up.
"Tamara, I don't even know what to wear-"
I heard a chuckle before the person spoke.
"Sorry to disappoint, but I'm not Tamara babe."
Oh fiddlesticks.
"Hey! I thought you were someone else, sorry." I laughed.
"No worries. How was your night?"
His tone was sweet and soft as he spoke.
Oh kill me with a broomstick.
"Good. How are you doing?"
"Fine. Well, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out today?"
"I'd love that, but I can't. My best friend is taking me somewhere."
"Oh. I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize. You didn't know. How bout you come over? No one's home, I'm sure she won't mind if you tag along."
"Alright, I'll be over in a bit."
"Bye hon."
I ended the call and got out of bed, turning on the new 5 Seconds of Summer album before I headed for the shower.
I was so giddy inside, but I was scared to be happy or embrace the feeling for my mind was telling me I didn't deserve it. Ignoring it was a lot easier said than done. I sang loudly as I showered, acting like I was on the second leg of my tour. Chuckling at myself, I got out, knowing Harry would be here soon.
I did my hair by loosening it up with water and letting it fall down in its curls before doing my edges with gel and a toothbrush. I was clad in a red off the shoulder crop top and boyfriend jeans with checkered vans on one foot since my other was occupied with my boot. I put on chapstick like I always did and as I finished I heard the doorbell ring. I swiftly walked downstairs, opening the door to find Tammy and Harry standing there awkwardly.
"Hey guys." I greeted before they both hugged me, Harry kissing me on the cheek.
"Spring, you look gorgeous!" Tammy exclaimed as I blushed.
Harry chuckled as he watched us.
"Oh my god I'm so rude. Have you guys met properly?" I asked, feeling bad for making them feel awkward.
They shook their heads.
"Tamara, this is my boyfriend, Harry. Harry, this is my favoritest human in the whole entire world, the meat to my ball, Tamara." I teased her, rolling my R's and speaking in a Hispanic accent since she was Hispanic.
I really tried not to make the word sound weird as it slipped from my lips. Boyfriend. Ugh.
They laughed at me and said their hellos to each other.Tamara excused us, swiftly walking out of earshot from Harry.
"What happened to leaving him in 2017?", she teased.
I explained everything that had happened after the whole ordeal of us arguing we became really good friends, not leaving out the performance and definitely leaving out the kiss.
"That's good, he seems sweet, but one thing."
I looked at her expectantly, waiting for her to get to the point.
"Where did you manage to find a British boy in Florida?"
I laughed loudly, "I know, random right?" I joked before we walked out into the room Harry stood in typing way on his phone.
We left the house soon after driving to our destination, now that I thought of it I had no idea where we were going.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"You'll see!" She said to me excitedly as I gave her a weird look.
We pulled up at a Target, a large one at that.
"Harry, close your girlfriend's eyes would ya?" She asked him nonchalantly as she handed him a blindfold. I stayed quiet as Harry tied the blindfold and helped me out of the car and into the store.
"Alright. Now!" Tamara exclaimed before the blindfold was untied and I could now see my surroundings.
There hung a humongous screen in front of the store.
I stood there in confusion, what is this?
The screen turned on as my favorite four boys appeared on it, smiling widely.
"Hey Spring! We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying our new album, Youngblood. We heard your story and it inspired us to reward you for being so hardworking." My jaw dropped as I watched Luke Hemmings say my name.
"You manage to keep yourself so motivated and you surround yourself with the best people and though you have so many challenges you still tend to have the best outlook for everything and that's something we admire." Calum spoke with a large smile on his face as I felt tears sting my eyes.
"We are going to reward you with your own copy of the album that includes two exclusive songs with a personal autograph from all of us. A vinyl copy as well at that and-"Ashton giggled as the others did the same, "excuse these idiots, five backstage passes to come see us perform and visit us with your family when we come to Florida next year."
I was full on crying now as I looked at the boys I loved so much.
"We want you to know that you're always in our thoughts and to keep being strong no matter the circumstances. We all have a message for you on- one, two, three!" Michael spoke before they all shouted in unison.
"WE LOVE YOU SPRING!"
The screen was once again black and I didn't even notice a bag being placed in my hand and a opened armed Tamara as I hugged her tightly, tears falling down my hot cheeks.
"Tammy!" I sobbed.
"You did all this?" I asked.
"Yes! You deserve it!"
I couldn't began to express how thankful I was towards her. I looked towards Harry.
"Did you know about this?"
"Your mum might've told my mom who told me." He grinned.
I squealed, hugging him tightly.
