Spring's P.O.VSaturday was here and that meant Harry coming over to my house. I never have people over so I had a huge conversation with my parents. At first they were fine with it but then they found out he was a boy. I then received a list of rules including leaving my bedroom door wide open. My sister and I laughed as she teased me with questions about the boy I barely even knew. I woke up that morning at eleven. He said he'd be there around twelve. I prepared all the supplies on my bed after I washed my hair and wrapped it with a towel. I heard the doorbell ring downstairs as I ran down them like a kid on Christmas morning.
Chill Spring. He's just a boy.
I quickly unwrapped the towel, unleashing the beast I called my hair and shook my head a little before opening the door with a smile. He looked up from his camera and smiled wide at me with his dimples on display.
"Hi." I greeted shortly as he walked in.
"Hey Spring. What's good?"
Dimples
"Dimples?" He laughed back at me.
Did I really just say that out loud?
"I meant nothing." I said wallowing in my own embarrassment.
Harry laughed as I hoped he didn't hear what I said.
"Spring? Who's at the door?" I heard my mom yell from the kitchen. My mom walked from the kitchen with a smile.
"Honey! Are you gonna introduce me to your friend?" She laughed.
"Momma,this is Harry."
"Hey sweetie! It's nice to meet you! Make yourself at home."
"Thank you. It's nice to meet you as well." Harry smiled down at my mother as they talked.
I walked him up the stairs to my room as he talked about how sweet my mom was. When we entered my room the environment shifted. For once Harry's attention was off his camera and he was looking at my room. Everything about it seemed to fascinate him. I sat on my bed as I waited for him to do the same.
"Your room is honestly beautiful." He said with a distinctive smile in his eyes.
"Thanks I guess..." I was surprised at the fact that he noticed it. No one ever notices anything but the obvious things.
He smiled back at me for a few seconds before speaking, "Before we start I wanted to apologize about the other day. I didn't mean to-"
I interrupted him before the conversation got any farther because it didn't need to.
"It's whatever. I'm used to it."
That's all I had to say for him to nod and look back at me with sympathy.

After working on the project for four hours straight our brains were fried and I knew it because Harry started saying the corniest jokes and I was on the floor trying not to pee myself from laughter.
"Harry! Oh my god! Stop talking!" I laughed hysterically even more.
"No one ever laughs at my jokes." He said wide eyed.
I finally stopped laughing and I was starving. "I'm hungry." I sighed.
"You wanna get a bite to eat? My treat." He proposed, reaching his hand out to help me off the floor.
I grabbed his hand and got off the floor swiftly.
"Thanks. But that's not necessary." I countered.
"Come on. Let me take you out to eat. It's the least I can do." His bottom lip puckered out at me.
"Fine. But I'm paying. Lemme do something with my hair first."
"No! I like it like that." His eyes were wide again after I spoke.
"Another reason for me to do something else with it." I laughed.
"How rude." He pouted.
After having such a good day with him I think this whole high school thing might just work.
