Simply Rejected

Part 10

A Couple of weeks later

"Bien Joue!" Chat Noir and Ladybug fist bumped as a villain detransformed back into Alya's dad. Alya ran up and put her arms around him. Sorta to help him up but also to get a better shot of Chat Noir and Ladybug.

Chat Noir wrapped his hand around Ladybug's wrist mid-fist-bump and he pulled her into a hug.

Alya squealed her heart to death as Ladybug lightly pushed him off with a goofy smile on her face. "S-stop I have to go." She said and ran away.

Alya re-watched the footage she got as soon as she got hom. She fixed the lighting and focus of the video a bit and posted it on the Ladyblog with the title "THE SHIP IS SAILING!"

She squealed once more and knew Marinette had to see right away. After the Video finished she walked to Marrinette's house quickly.

~Ladybug

I landed on the porch and detransformed. Chat Noir landed right behind me and gave me a hug from behind. "You ran away before I could kiss you." He pouted.

I stumbled over my words, "You aren't supposed to kiss me, and I was going to detransform anyways!" 

"Such a pitty we have to keep our identities from the public." Chat Noir said over dramatically, "I mean, I know who you are and I was able to accept you wouldn't it be fine?" 

"You still don't want me to know who you are, Since you know who I am can I know who you are?" Marinette turned the conversation on around onto him.

"W-well. You don'y like me." He said honestly.

"I don't?-" 

"Y-yeah," Chat cut her off. "I have to go Patrol, sleep well." He kissed her cheek and left quickly.

Marinette Huffed and went to bed. Just as she was settled down and starting to drift off into sleep the trapdoor(?What's it called?) to her room flew open and Alya jumped into her room. "MARI, HOLY COW WHAT THE LADYBLOG JUST HAPPENED?" She yelled and woke up Marinette. "Alya?"

"CHAT NOIR JUST KISSED YOU! On the Balcony! The most romantic place in the house! Not only that he just hugged Ladybug! What's going on!?" Alya sat by Marinette's bed. She was angry, hardcore fangurling and jealous. "Do you know who Chat is?" She asked seriously. "Are you keeping secrets from me?"

"A-alya? N-no?" Marinette got beside Alya. "I-i don't know him. He just S-saved me and sorta kept coming back."

"What do you mean?" Alya asked and looked at her. "Spill the tea." She demanded.

"W-when Adrien Rejected me he comforted me. We grew close. That's all." Marinette explained.

"He just hugged Ladybug. Don't tell me you're a side chick! That's horrible!" Alya told Marinette. Marinette bit her lip she didn't know how to explain it to Alya

"Alya, I-I" Marinette went quiet for a second. "I can't tell you." She said quietly.

"Marinette. You can trust me. I am here for you." She said simply and put her arm around her best friend. 

"I am Ladybug." She said and covered her mouth quickly she didn't expect it to come out so quickly. She closed her eyes waiting for Alya to squeal, hit her, drop dead or what but she didn't do anything.

"Hah Nino owes me 100€!" Alya smiled confidently. "I guessed you were Ladybug weeks ago!" 

Marinette sighed in relief. She had become afraid Alya would freak out and tell everyone on the ladyblog.

"When you had me pose as a cardboard villain for principal Damocles the next day you come to school with your fingers covered in cuts claiming you didn't make anything." 

"Oh yeah.." 

Alya Hugged her best friend. "Thank you for protecting the city."
