The Deal

Sam woke up at 6 am with me on his chest. I've been awake but he doesn't know that. We both smiled and I rolled off him.
"Good morning," I said.
"Good morning. How'd you sleep?" Sam asked.
I didn't. How about you?" I asked.
"Good... Wait what?!" Sam yelled.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Did you say you didn't sleep?" Sam asked.
"Yeah, why?" I replied.
"Why not?" Sam asked.
"I couldn't stop thinking about what would've happened if you weren't there or my tail didn't grab the wrist of the psycho," I said.
"Oh," Sam said.
I explained what I did overnight while he slept. He wanted to spare because he never fought a female or half animal. I agreed to put my new skills to use. We headed for the basement and got ready.
"You ready, Aurora," Sam asked.
"Whenever you are," I said wearing training gear Sam had made for me a few days ago.
While sparring we also gave the other advice on better combat techniques. Sam pinned me to the ground forgetting about my tail and right before he said he won I threw him off me. We kept exchanging shoves and grabs but none of us seemed to gain any ground. We sparred for 2 hours.
"Seems like Sam finally met his match," Rowan interrupted.
"What are you doing?" Sam asked.
"I was going to lift weights but now I want to spar," Rowan said.
"Hold on, Aurora, this'll only take a minute," Sam said.
"No, not you, I want to soar with her," Rowan said.
"In your dreams," Sam said.
"Let him," I said.
"You sure?" Sam asked.
"Yeah, but before we sparred get your parents," I said.
"OK," Sam said running up the stairs.
"We should make this a bit more interesting," Rowan said.
"How so?" I asked.
"If I win you ruin your relationship with Sam," Rowan said.
"And if I win?" I asked.
"I leave you alone," Rowan said.
"That and you leave Sam alone as well," I said.
"Deal," Rowan said holding his hand out.
I shook his hand and he got changed. When we were finished getting ready Sam and his parents came into the basement. We got into our stances and started.
I know Rowan isn't as fast as me but he knows I'm not using my claws. I have to use my agility to combat his strength. Rowan immediately grabs my tail and I performed a round house kick in order to get him off me.
"You have new tricks," Rowan said.
"And you haven't changed," I said.
I tripped Rowan with my tail and punched hump his way down causing him to land wrong. I jumped on him and tried to pin him but he threw me off. I hit the wall and fell to my knees. I stood up and immediately stopped his hand from hitting me. I flipped him and kicked him from the side. When he hit the ground I grabbed his ankle and spun in a circle. I was spinning him for 2 minutes before I let go. Rowan hit a wall head first knocking him out. I won by knockout.
"Good job, Aurora," Sam said.
"What would you expect," I replied.
"In all honesty, I didn't know who would win," Sam said.
"I had something to win for," I said.
"What do you mean?" Sam asked.
"If he won I'd ruin our friendship and if I won he'd leave us alone," I said.
"Why did you accept it?" Sam asked.
"To guarantee victory," I said.
"Still, if you lost," Sam said.
"I wasn't going to lose," I said.
"OK, but promise me you won't do that again," Sam said.
"I promise, Sam," I said.
Sam's parents went up stairs after congratulating me. Sam and I helped Rowan up and he stormed upstairs. We were fighting for half an hour. Me and Sam continued our playful soar for an hour then Sam showed me a video of me beating Rowan. My mom came 15 minutes after that.

(thanks for reading I will try to update weekly but there is no guarantees because I write it first. Thanks for feedback and support. Love you all.)
