We arrived at the hospital in 10 minutes. They unloaded Sam and my bully, Sierra, then guided me with Sam. They brought me into the hearing room, people who have unique ears use it after an experience like mine. They brought Sam to a normal room and started to work on his shoulder. They put Sierra in an extensive Cate unit and started to work on her. In the hearing room they ran several tests and cane to the result that my ears were more sensitive and that I should do hearing retraining therapy. They didn't know that the last time I had to do that it didn't work.
They gave me earplugs so I wouldn't be in too much pain. When I left the hearing room I saw my patents and younger sister. My younger sister has the same disorder as me but hers takes the form of a dog. Her name is Emily.
"Are you OK?" they all asked me.
"Yeah, I'm fine. My ears are killing me though," I said.
"We heard what happened at the school," dad said.
"You heard what Sam and I did, I'm guessing," I said.
"Yeah we did," mom said.
"Are you mad?" I asked.
"No, we are overjoyed and surprised that you stood up to the shooter," mom said.
"Sam was shot," I said starting to cry.
"We know, he was one of 3 wounded," dad said.
"How many casualties?" I asked.
"37," dad said.
"Oh, some of those people were nice," I said.
"We know, anyways Emily has something for you," mom said.
"Sissy, I'm sorry to here about your friend, but I still want to give you this," Emily said.
She gave me a card at the same time a doctor came to guide me to Sam. I hugged my family and mom said I could stay with him. I went with the doctor. When I got to Sam's room I entered and ran towards him to give him a hug.
"Are you OK?" I asked.
"Yeah, the doctors said its OK for me to go home as well," Sam said.
"My parents said I could stay the night with you," I said.
"Cool, I can show you my yarn collection," Sam said with a smile.
"Wait, you have yarn?" I asked surprised and eager.
"Yes, I do," Sam said.
"Then what ate we waiting for let's go," I said. "We're waiting for my parents to get here, silly," Sam said with a laugh.
"Sorry, I just love yarn," I said blushing.
"You're fine,  Aurora," Sam said.
While waiting for Sam's parents a doctor walked in and asked if we knew where to find me. I told him that he had found who he was looking for. After he gave me a letter he walked away saying he was sorry.
"What was that about?" I asked.
"I don't know but what does the letter say?" Sam asked.
"Oh yeah, it says: Dear Aurora, I am sorry I bullied you for being part cat. Honestly I wasn't doing it because you were different but I was actually jealous of you. I know my apology doesn't mean much but Ivan very sorry. If you ate reading this I am dead. Don't let anyone get in your water becoming the beat you can be. Goodbye. Sincerely yours, Sierra." I read off.
"That's sad," Sam said.
"Yeah it is, we could've been friends if I knew she was jealous," I said.
We waited in silence for 5 minutes. After Sam's parents arrives we left the hospital and drove to his house. We were silent almost the entire trip there.
