That night I had 3 nightmares. I didn't know what a nightmare felt like because I never had one before. I was terrified with each one.
The first nightmare was back at the school. The shooter came in like normal but instead of having Sam and his bully fight he shot everyone and everything in the room. This included the cabinets me and Sam were in. The paramedics came in and saw only 2 kids breathing, me and Sam. We were both put into extensive Cate units upon arrival at the hospital and Sam died of blood loss during his operation. I survived but couldn't leave the hospital and sad paralyzed from the waist down. I woke up sweating and crying softly from that nightmare.
The second nightmare was an hour after the first. It took place on the trip to Sam's house. We were halfway there when a semi blindsided us. Sam's mom and dad died upon impact. Sam died before the ambulance arrived and I was lucky to be alive because I had 2 broken arms, a broken leg, dislocated shoulder, cracked skull, 3 shattered ribs, 2 broken ribs, and my heart was barely missed by a piece of glass. I woke up in pain, scared, and crying abut louder from that nightmare.
The third nightmare was the worst. It was at 3 am and half an hour after the second. It was during the fight between Sam and Rowan. I fell down to the ground in pain still and everything was the same until after Sam tripped over me. Rowan grabbed a piece of glass and jumped at Sam, stabbing him in the heart with the glass shard laughing. I woke up screaming and crying, accidentally waking San up.
"Aurora, listen to me, calm down, Aurora," Sam said trying to calm me down.
I turned around and cried into his shirt. After a half hour of Sam's calming and my crying I finally stopped crying. I told him about my nightmares through sobs.
"Aurora, I'm safe, nothing has happened, see," Sam said.
"Sam?" I asked.
"Yeah," Sam said.
"Can I sleep on your chest?" I asked.
"Sure, I don't mind," Sam said.
I crawled on top of his chest, curled up, and fell asleep. I didn't know if I would have a dream or nightmare. I was completely asleep at 4 am.
I had a dream of me and Sam getting married and having kids with and without my disorder. We were a happy family. Our first born was a crystal-eyed girl named Krystal. She had wings that could literally lift her off the ground and she was diagnosed with the disorder at birth. Our second born was a blue-haired girl named Sapphire. She was born normal but could levitate things with her mind at age 3. Our third born was a set of twins, boy and girl, named Ryan and Melodie. Ryan was a normal boy who could read anything in less than a minute, we referred to it as extreme speed reading at the age of 5. Melodie always went my Mellie and she couldwrite chapter books with help at the age of 2 and without help at the age of 4. She also had a talent for music.
I woke up at 8 am because Sam woke me up. I told him about my dream and asked if that could be our life. He said maybe then kissed my forehead. I stood up and went into the kitchen with him and saw breakfast already made for us. Sam's parents and brother were at work today. We had the whole house to ourselves and my parents texted me saying I could stay another night.
"So, what do you want to do?" I asked.
"First, I have to walk the dog," Sam said.
"Oh yeah, where is Miracle anyways?" I asked.
Sam pointed at a female husky running into the room. She had diamond blue eyes and a snow white coat that needed cleaned twice a day. She loves to play with my tail. I let her because I know that she is just playing. She loves people but guards the house from anyone she doesn't know. Her favorite toy is actually my tail.
