Midnight and Winter

I named on off-the-wall puppies Midnight is a boy and Winter is a girl. They are not related in anyway way.
Winter is albino with a silver tint in her red eyes. She was smaller than a normal husky. Her coat glimmers like snow in the light. She is playful and calm. She loves people, especially kids. She always cuddles with people to sleep.
Midnight is a pure black husky. His coat blends in with the darkest night. He is overprotective and alert. He doesn't like people. He always sleeps in front of my bed guarding me and Winter.
"Midnight, Winter, time to eat," I called after filling their food bowls.
Winter ran to her food and Midnight cautiously walked to his food. Midnight stayed alert the entire time he ate. They finished eating and I started to play with them.
10 minutes later Emily came into my room without knocking. Midnight almost bit Emily before I pulled him away. He was struggling to attack her.
"Midnight, stop it, right now," I said.
"Why did he attack me?" Emily asked.
"He doesn't like new people," I said.
"He's adorable though," she said.
"What do you want anyways?" I asked.
"I wanted to play with your puppies," Emily said.
"Winter is over there," I said pointing to Winter.
"What about him?" she asked.
"He's not playful and he's not used to you yet," I said.
"OK, I'll play with winter," she said sadly.
"And you need to calm down," I said to Midnight, who was still trying to attack Emily.
Midnight noticed me protecting Emily, finally, and nodded his head. I let him go and he sat guarding the room. I sighed and fell on my bed. I fell into a catnap and when I woke up Winter was asleep with her head on my right leg. Midnight was asleep surprisingly not at the door but on my bed curled up next to Winter.
I woke the 2 up gently and they got off my bed. I got off my bed and started to play with Winter. Midnight came to me wanting to play. I played with both pups until dinner time.
I asked mom and dad if they could get certain things for the puppies. This included toys, collars, and leashes. I also gave my family a description of the 2.
After dinner mom and dad went to the store. Emily got bored enough to try scaring Midnight and regretted it. She had a bite mark on her leg that refused to stop bleeding. When I finally did stop the bleeding Emily had lost at least 2 pints of blood. I wrapped her wound and carried her to her room. I laid her in her bed and Midnight came in and laid on her floor by the door.
"Do you want him in here? He looks sorry for what he did," I said.
"Sure," she said.
"OK, Midnight, behave," I said and left her room.

(Sorry for the wait. I had to think of the dogs names and then the descriptions of them. Then I also had a very busy week but here is chapter 9. Hope you like it and thanks for reading.)
