Stoffel and Charlie have been best friends ever since Charlie moved to Belgium when she was 3. Charlie moved to Belgium as her father got a new job, Charlie was next door neighbours with Stoffel and they spent everyday together and became best friends. Charlie was very supportive when Stoffel started getting into racing. Charlie would go watch him race however she never really followed it. They started to see each other less however it never affected their friendship. Charlie knew Stoffel's dream was to be in F1 since he was little and Charlie's dream is travel and do writing.
Stoffel and Charlie have been there for each other through everything, Stoffel is Charlie's rock as he's helped her through the toughest of times. Charlie's parents died when she was 18 in a road accident, Charlie hit rock bottom. As she was 18 she could live alone so she stayed in her family home even though Stoffel's family was next door and they were her second family. Charlie isn't one to open up about her feelings but Stoffel knew he had to be there for her even if she did push him away sometimes.
Charlie is 23 and Stoffel is 26 and they have both decided to move into an apartment together in Monaco. Stoffel isn't an independent person at all he's always lived with his parents and he's such a mom's boy. Charlie on the other hand has learnt to be independent and she doesn't mind if she has to look after him. Charlie doesn't have any friends a part from Stoffel and his girlfriend-Anna, however they've moved into the apartment block where all the f1 drivers live so she can meet them.
