It had been just under a week since Baku and Charlie had spoken to Max about everything. They had decided to go their separate ways although Max didn't want that, he didn't mean what he said at the club, he wants Charlie. Max knows he needs to give her space and see what happens in time.

Charlie had gone for a run up a route she had made up through the mountains, it's always quite and that's why Charlie loves it. Charlie stood on the rock giving herself a break, when she turned around to continue running she bumped into someone sending Charlie to fall backwards. Luckily a strong hand saved her from falling. "Shit! I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention" this man said, as Charlie looked up she saw this tall, tanned, dark haired beauty. "Umm its okay, um it was my fault" Charlie couldn't get her words out as she was stunned by this man. "I'm Luke, by the way" Luke said while holding out his hand. Charlie shook it "I'm Charlie". "Can I take you out for coffee as an apology for almost knocking you off the edge of the cliff" he laughed. "That would be lovely" Charlie smiled.

When they got to the cafe they sat down and started talking about one another. Charlie found out Luke was a photographer and he had moved to Monaco from Italy where he was born. "So what bring you to Monaco" Luke asked. "Well me and my best friend, his girlfriend, Anna and a friend, Max have an apartment together as it's easy for the boy with their job" Charlie said.
"What's their job?"
"They're formula One drivers"
"Ahhh cool. Do you travel with them around the world."
"The majority of the time yeah." Charlie and Luke continued general chit chat getting to know each other. Luke was very mysterious not giving a lot away. "I'll walk you home" Luke said as they left the cafe. "Are you sure, I only live up the road" Charlie said. "Yeah it's okay, I get to spend more time with you then." Luke smirked.

"This is me" Charlie said as they stood outside her apartment, "would you like to come in for 5?" Charlie offered. "Okay but I mustn't stay long" Luke said. When they walked in and to Charlie's surprise everyone was home, Anna and Stoffel were at the breakfast bar as Max was on the sofa. "Oh hi guys I didn't think you'd be in.... Um well this is Luke" Charlie introduced Luke. Anna and Stoffel said hi as max just glared at him. "Um well I best be off" Luke said awkwardly as he saw Max starring at him. "Oh okay, well here's my number. Text me, I would love to meet up again." Charlie said while tapping her number into his phone. "Yeah 100% I would love to see you again" Luke smiled while leaving.

"Wow thanks me scaring him away" Charlie rolled her eyes. "Since when did you start randomly giving your number out, and who was he anyway" max grunted. "Since when were you my dad." Charlie rolled her eyes walking towards the kitchen. "And he's called Luke, I bumped into him and he took me out for coffee. He's a photographer from Italy." Charlie continues mainly speaking to Anna however the boys listened in. Max turned the volume up on the to as he didn't want to listen about Luke. "Oooo he was cute" Anna said receiving a glare from Stoffel "but not as cute as you" Anna smiled at Stoffel giving him a kiss. "Ew cringe" Charlie said laughing walking towards her room.

When everyone was at the Spanish GP Charlie and Luke met up again. Luke offered to take pictures of Charlie for her article. It was Sunday night and Luke had come round to help Charlie add an effect on the pictures and upload them. They sat on the sofa and Charlie watched Luke do his work on her laptop. "What?" Luke laughed as he caught Charlie starring at him, "you just look cute all concentrated" Charlie giggled. "Well you look absolutely stunning in these photos" Luke complimented, they starred in each other's eyes getting lost. "Would you like a drink" Charlie said breaking the eye contact. "Red wine please" Luke requested. "My type of guy" Charlie laughed as she loved a guy that drank.

After a while they were just sat on the sofa talk my until Charlie phone pinged.

Anna
Max is acting weird, he's sat with water not dancing. He's not even looking at another girl. I think he's still hung up on you.

Charlie just rolled her eyes. "Everything okay?" Luke asked seeing Charlie's reaction to the notification. "Just Max, the person I live with." Charlie said. "He an ex?" Luke asked. "Something like that, we were never official and never told each other how we felt but we knew we liked one another."
"What happened then? How come you aren't with him?"
"He wanted fun, girls and then wanted me when he was bored. I ended whatever we had giving him time to have fun."
"Well what if he turned around and said he wanted you"
"Well that's what Anna's just text me" Charlie showed Luke the text. "So how do you feel?" Luke said. "I don't know" Charlie said hesitantly. "How would you feel if I did this" Luke said while leaning into to kiss her, Charlie also leaned in. Luke was very different to Max, Luke wasn't gentle like Max was the first timed they kissed. The kiss quickly get heated and Charlie moved herself onto his lap. Charlie's top was quickly removed and she started kissing his neck. Charlie liked this as she did find Luke very attractive and she liked him. Luke picked her up walked towards her bedroom. Charlie was placed on the bed with Luke above her. "Are you sure you want to do this?" Luke asked. Charlie took a while to reply, she's never normally this spontaneous but she does like Luke. Charlie just nodded.

Stoffel and Anna always get home from races quite early in the morning. It was 9am and Anna and Stoffel had got home, Charlie wasn't awake yet and this surprised Stoffel. "Charlie! Charlie are you home!" Stoffel shouts. As this Max also walks through the door. "Oh hey you're back early, have you seen Charlie?" Stoffel asks. "Nah, do you want me to check her room" max offers. "If you don't mind" Stoffel said. As max opens Charlie's bedroom door he sees Charlie lying on Luke. Max rolls his eyes and shuts her door heavily. This wakes Charlie and Luke up, "shit I think they're home" Charlie whispers while putting underwear on and a dressing gown, Luke put his clothes on from last night which were creased form being thrown on the floor. Charlie didn't even check her hair or the fact she had a hickey on her neck form last night activities.

"Um hey guys" Charlie said walking into the kitchen where everyone was, Luke followed behind her. Max just stood there looking angry. "Have fun while we were away?" Stoffel laughed. "Um yeah" Charlie giggled. "Um it was nice meeting you all" Luke said awkwardly. "I'll show you out" Charlie laughed. "Text me, I'll see you soon" Charlie said while kissing him goodbye.

As Charlie retuned to the living room Anna started laughing "awhhhh look at you all loved up". "I'm not all loved up, yes we slept together and I do like him." Charlie giggled. "Woah too much information" Stoffel covered his ears walking to his room to unpack. Max walked off to his room without saying anything. "I think I'm going to invite him to the Monaco GP" Charlie said to Anna. "You should! I'm sure Stoff can get him a ticket. Soooo aye you slept with him!" Anna said excited. "Yeah it happened in the moment. But did you see Max's face" Charlie said quietly. "He was so miserable Sunday night, he doesn't want fun Charlie he want you" Anna said. "Well I'm with Luke now". Charlie felt happy being with Luke but she felt weird that Max didn't go and have fun.
