Chapter 4: The Blood Moon Pack Meets The Fox Hill Pack

Luke's P.O.V.
Ever. She was all that was on my mind. My wolf Sam told me Ever was our mate and I couldn't be happier. My phone chimed and I looked down to see a text from Ever.

New Message From: Ever
Hey Luke! Do you wanna come meet my pack?

I thought to myself. Meet her pack? Am I ready for that? I text back a quick 'Yes' and pulled on my black skinny jeans and my Bring Me The Horizon tank top and my black converse. I followed the directions she texted me and pulled up at a large wooden mansion type place. She was outside with her father, the Alpha. I got out of the car and bowed before him. He nodded as I stood up and looked at Ever.
"Hi Luke. This is my father Parker." I shook his hand.
"Hello Lucas. It is great to finally meet you. Please, come in." I followed him inside and I was met with about twenty wolves. One stuck out in particular. A brown wolf standing next to a grey wolf who looked terrified. I nudged Ever.
"Ever? Who are the grey and brown wolves over there?" I pointed to them and she looked over.
"That's Michael and Ella. Why?" I shrugged and she smiled.
"Would you like the full introduction?" I nodded.
"Pack, this is Luke. Luke, this is Pepper, Rose, Michael, Ella, Calum, Kyler, Dereck, Noel, Rick, Sydney, Sam, Leah, Hannah, Parker who you already know, Marina, Michelle, Dylan, Matthew, Lillian, and Poppy." I tried to remember all of their names. When I looked at Ella she smiled and Michael growled lowly at me. What the hell is that about?

Michael's P.O.V.

I don't know why my wolf made me growl at Luke. I guess he thought we needed to protect our mate, Ella. I really didn't find him much of a threat since he is Ella's sister Ever's mate. I calmed my wolf down and went to talk to Luke.
"Hello." I said to him, a slight growl in my tone. What the hell is wrong with me today?
"Um hi?" He said back. He looked over at Ever who shrugged her shoulders at him. He quickly turned and left with Ever and I groaned. When will my wolf let me express my own feelings?

Ever's P.O.V.

Poor Michael. His wolf never lets him express his true feelings. I looked over at Luke who was swinging on the swing in the middle of my shared room. Each person was assigned a room with their mate. I was paired with Poppy, a thirteen year old Omega who wasn't old enough to find a mate yet. I wasn't paired with Luke because he is part of a different pack.
"Ever? My dad needs me home. I'm gonna go okay?" I nod at Luke and lead him to the door.
"I hope we can do this again sometime." I say kissing his cheek.
"Bye Ever." He said. I watched as he pulled out of the driveway and shut the door. I turned around and jumped as I saw Sam standing behind me with his mate Rick. I smiled at them and went to my fathers office. I knocked on the door and walked in.
"So? Do you except him or not daddy?" He nodded and I mentally cheered. I walked upstairs to my room and Poppy was on her back on her bed reading a book.
"Hey Ever." She said, not looking up from her book.
"Hi Poppy." I say back grabbing clothes from my closet. I hop in the shower and get ready for dinner. I was being promoted to Luna since my mother had died and my father needed a girl to work beside him. I of course am not his mate but I am being promoted anyway. I smile as I pass Poppy, who is putting a flower crown made of poppies on her head. I pass Sam, Rick, Lillian, and Dylan on my way down the stairs. I sit at the head of the table next to my fathers seat where I always sit. Everyone came downstairs and looked at me.
"Ever, please stand up." I stood, locking eyes with my father.
"Ever, as the Alpha of this pack I promote you to Luna. The one to rule besides me, but not as my mate. As my daughter." I nodded as my wolf cheered inside of me. I bowed as everyone started clapping and I sat back down. We began to eat and my wolf continued to cheer. When we cleared the table I called Luke to tell him the good news.
"Hey Ever. What's up?" I smiled to myself.
"I got promoted to pack Luna. I've never been so happy in my life Luke!" He cheered and I cheered along with him.
"That's great babe. I'll see you at school tomorrow okay?"
"Okay Luke. Bye."
"Bye Ever." I hung up and ran up to my room. I noticed that my stuff was gone and I looked around. I walked down to my fathers room and knocked on the door.
"Ever? Come in." I walked in and noticed the Luna door was open.
"Dad? Why is moms door open?" He chuckled.
"It's yours now Ever." I squealed and ran inside. The Luna layer is the largest room in the house besides the Alpha's den. A swing was set up in the middle and I frowned when I realized I no longer had a roommate. I looked back at my dad and he smiled at me.
"Don't worry Ev, you're getting a new roommate tomorrow." I smiled and sat down on the bed. I suddenly remembered something. I pushed a button on the wall and it opened to a large library. I smiled. I grabbed a book by my favorite author and sat in a chair, pushing a button so the wall closed again. This is what I missed. Being alone in the peace and quiet. Suddenly a large crash came from outside the library and I looked out and saw Sam trying to put a kitten on the bed, and Rick standing behind with a scratch on his face and a broken vase on the floor. I sighed.
"Sammy, Rick, I love you both so much but please go." They left my room and shut the door and I looked down at the kitten. What was this little kitten doing in a house full of dogs? And who is my new roommate?
