All I saw were silhouettes...

For my date with Drew, I decided a casual blue sundress and white converse. My makeup and hair were done to perfection and literally took me forever to do. I'm looking at my reflection in my mirror when movement catches my eye.

I look across to Brody's room and see him getting all fancy. He sees me as well and he goes towards his window and opens it. I do the same.

"Are you ready for your date with Drew?" Asks Brody.

"I think so. What about you, are you going out tonight?" I ask him.

"I am. Her name is Ava and we're going out to dinner tonight." He says to me.

"Oh! She's best friends with Leanna right?" I ask.

"I think so." he says. I nod.

"Well, I hope you have fun." I say to him.

"You too." He says. I get a text from Drew telling me he's downstairs.

"Well, Drew's here. Let me know how your date goes!" I say to him rushing down the stairs.

Drew is waiting outside my door for me, with a bouquet of flowers.

"Thank you so much!" I say. I quickly run them into the house and quickly fill them in a vase of water. Then I rush back outside to see Drew holding open the passenger door.

"After you." He says. I get in and the door shuts behind me.

"So, where to?" I ask him.

"Mini golfing." He says to me.

"I love mini golfing!" I say.

"My parents and I used to go when I was younger." I say.

"I'm glad you're excited. I had no clue where to take you for a first date." He says to me.

When we arrive at the course, it's pretty much empty. Probably because it is the middle of the week. Drew pays for our golf balls and clubs.

"So, do you have any siblings?" He asks me. "Nope. Only child." "Nice. I have an older sister." He says to me. "Really? How old?" I ask. "22. Graduating college soon." He says. "So tell me about your parents?" He asks. "Workaholics. Always gone. So I pretty much have the house to myself." I say to him. "You could throw some pretty sweet parties." He says to me. I laugh. "Yeah, I don't have a lot of friends. It would be a pretty lame party." I say to him. "All anyone cares about is the booze and music. They could care less about who's house it's at." He says to me.

After we've finished our mini golfing, we head for some food before he takes me home.

"I had a lot of fun tonight." He says. "Me too. I hadn't realized how much I missed mini golfing." I say to him. "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow." He says to me. "Yeah..." I say trailing off.

He's staring at me and starts to lean in. I lean in too. Softly our lips touch. And too soon, it ends. I pull back and Drew lets out a breath. He leans in again but this time the kiss is more eager. More passionate. His hands finds the back of my head and mine around his neck. Drew moves his hand and accidentally hits the horn. It lets out a loud beep and Drew and I stop. And then we both burst out laughing.

"Goodnight Drew." I say to him getting out of the car. "Goodnight." He says to me.

He waits until I'm inside my house before driving away. I head up to my room and shut the door. I was thinking about going over to Brody's room. I change into a pair of shorts and a crop top and go over to my window.

I'm about to climb through when I see silhouettes moving in the darkness. And more than one. Brody's date must have a happy ending in the near future. I shut my blinds and decide to go to bed. I'll talk to Brody tomorrow.

The next day at school, I catch Brody in the hallway.

"So, it must have gone pretty well last night?" I say to Brody. "Oh yeah. Lot's of fun." He said smirking. "Next time shut your window when you have company over." I Say hitting him on the arm. "Oh shit you saw?" He asks laughing. "I saw silhouettes and nothing more thank god." I say. "Sorry about that." He says to me. "All good." I say.

"So what about you. How was your date?" He asks. "Amazing." I say smiling."We went mini golfing and we talked for hours and got food. It was one of the best nights of my life." I say to him. "I'm glad you had fun." He says smiling.

Ava comes up and wraps her arms around Brody. "Rae, this is Ava. My new girlfriend." Brody says. My eyes widen. "Girlfriend." I say. "Yeah." She says shaking my hand although I can see the disgust in her eyes.

Ava has always been a bitch. "Nice meeting you Rae but Brody and I have to go." She says to me. I roll my eyes. "See you in English?" I say to him. He nods as they walk away. Well that went well...
