We're playing basketball

Mid November

I've worked with the guys so much with their dancing all week. They've improved so much.

We have one more week until our first competition. Today is also one of the boy's basketball games. We perform during half time and then that's it.

The boys don't get to perform with us since they play so that's kind of sad.

After school, I have about an hour to kill before any of the dancers decide to come in. I walk into the classroom that we're using until our studio is remodeled. Nobody is there yet, which really surprises me. Usually a few girls are practicing.

I decide to get a head start on changing and so I take off my shirt and bra. As I'm reaching for my nude colored leotard, I hear the door open. In walks in the whole basketball team that dances.

I quickly turn around and I feel someone come up behind me. They wrap their arms around my body kind of like a shield.

"Ok, everybody say good luck and then out!" Brody says.

"Good luck!" I hear from behind me.

Then I hear the door shut.

"Thank you." I say.

"Your welcome. I should have thought that you would be changing." Brody says.

"No, I should have made sure the door was locked." I say.

"Well, we just wanted to wish you good luck." Brody says.

It's that moment, that I realize that Brody is still hovering over me. I look up and see that he's looking down on me. He realizes it too when I catch him staring at me holding my chest.

He turns around and I quickly put on a nude colored bra. I tell him I'm so what decent and he turns around.

"So, do you think you'll win?" I ask Brody.

"As long as you're cheering we will." He says.

I laugh. "Well then, I'll make sure that we're cheering."

I smile and Brody says bye.

I continue to change and then I start practicing.

Soon girls start coming in to change.

All too quick, it's half time. We're winning, 68-34. I'm really nervous because I have a small solo in this routine. It's hip hop and I do this really cool trick. Usually, I'll do a different trick with Brody when we go to competition instead.

We kill it and then run off stage.

After I'm finished changing, I say to the girls, "Guys, I just want to let you all know that I'm very proud of you. We've all come so far in becoming better dancers, and better friends."

As I'm looking around the room at all of the girls, I see Leanna rolling her eyes. She doesn't really like me. Rumors are always being spread about me and I have a feeling it's her. I don't know why though because I've never done anything to her

. I put my bag in the locker room and then go into the gym to watch the rest of the game.

"And that's a game!" Says the announcer.

We won by 50 points. Everybody runs onto the court. I slowly make my way out there. I'm tapped on my shoulder and I turn around. Brody is behind me.

"You won!" I say dropping my dance bag to give him a hug.

He picks me up and spins me around.

"Only because you were cheering." He says.

"Brody, you did all of that without me even needing to cheer. I doubt you even noticed when I walked in."

"Oh I noticed." He said.

"I could just sense your presence."

"That's really creepy." I say laughing.

He laughs too. "I know but it's the truth. The room got brighter when you walked in."

I laugh.

"Let's go celebrate with food." Brody says.

We grab our duffle bags and walk out to Brody's car. As we're about to pull out, the back doors open. In slides Josieah, Elijah, Noah, and Drew

. "Hi Rae. Let's celebrate with pizza." Noah says.

Brody laughs. "Pizza it is."

We go to dominos and order pizza. Then we decide to take it back to Brody's house. We go into his room and everyone finds a spot on his kind sized bed. The guys are so big, they take up just about the whole bed.

"What movie should we watch?" Asks Noah.

"I vote transformers!" Drew says.

We all know it's no use to argue with him so we agree.

"I'll be back. I'm going to change into some other clothes and come back over." I say to the guys.

They nod and I hop out of the window.

"So how often does she just hop through your window?" Asks Noah to Brody.

"Shut up." I hear him say.

I look in my closet and find a pair of boy shorts and a long t-shirt. This will have to do. I need to do laundry.

I climb back over and hear Drew say,

"God Damn she's hot."

My face heats up and I sit on the bed next to Brody and Noah. We barely get half way through before I'm knocked out.

I wake up in the morning warm and under blankets. I don't open my eyes and make a sighing noise. I feel someone next to me and I see it's Brody.

Then all of a sudden I feel someone jumping on top of us. It's the other boys.

"Get up! We want pancakes from Mac Dons." And so that's how we spend our morning. In the MacDonalds play area.

We've dropped almost everyone off at home except for Drew. He decided to go and chill with Brody for a bit. They're about to drop me off when Drew says, "I'll walk you up to the house."

"Oh you don't have to." I say. "It's fine. I wanted to ask you something anyways." He says. With that, we both get out of the car and head up to my house. "So..." I say. "Will you go out with me?" He asks.

"Like a date?" I ask him. "Exactly. I don't know. I've never really noticed you before, but now that I do, I think you're pretty cool. And I want to get to know you more." He says to me. "Okay." I say. "Cool. How's Wednesday at say 7?" "Perfect." I say to him. I go into my house, and start to have a mini panic attack.

I have never been on a date before...
