Alayna woke up in a panic. The last thing she remembered was the car falling on that thing... the Leviathan, and then nothing. The next time she woke up she was immediately greeted by bright florescent lights that had her cringing back. Then she was painfully aware of the throbbing in her head and the beeping coming from her right, which were not making things any better.
She blinked awake, looking around the room she quickly recognized to be Sioux Falls General Hospital. She sat upright in a panic, only to let out a loud groan of pain - grabbing at her head. She couldn't be here, this place was littered with Leviathans out to kill her. And the boys for that matter.
The door knob clicked, signalling someone coming in and Alayna's heart jumped into her throat - before she could think of a game plan on what to do to take down whoever this was and make a run for it; she caught sight of his face. "Bobby?" She whispered in disbelief.
"Yeah, and I brought a friend." Alayna's eyes finally found the green eyes of her eight month old son and she felt her heart jump again, only this time it was in relief.
"Oh, my God." Alayna quickly pulled the IV out of her arm and pushed herself onto the edge of the bed, her legs dangling over the side as she took the kid from him. She hugged him tightly, just relishing in the feeling of him being there and in her arms. "Why- why did you bring him here, Bobby, there's Leviathan's everywhere."
"Well, I wasn't going to leave him home alone." Bobby quickly gathered up her clothes and set them on the bed next to her. "Now hurry up and get dressed so we can get Sam and Dean the Hell out of dodge."
"Bobby. Bobby, wait," she jerked forward to catch his sleeve before he could leave. "What do you mean, 'home alone'? Where's Blair? Is she..."
"No," Bobby cut off her train of thought quickly and Alayna breathed a sigh of relief. "She found me and told me what happened, sent me after you lot. Told me to take Jackson to you cause she figured something out and then she just took off. Now, hurry and meet me at the ambulance dock."
"Wait, wait. Um, here..." Alayna hesitated, but after a moment gave Jackson back to Bobby. "You take Jackson to Dean and help him out of here, while I get Sam." She saw Bobby about to protest, and she held up a hand. "Dean's got a broken leg, probably doped up on all kinds of drugs, you're his best bet. Not me. I'll find Sam, wheel him into the ambulance bay."
"This place is crawling with Leviathan. Chances are they'll notice you long before they recognize me." Bobby tried to push his way past her, but Alayna held fast. "Fine," he finally relented. "Just hurry up."
Alayna nodded and Bobby took the young Winchester back before making his way down the hall. She watched him go for a moment before quickly changing back into her clothes - a blue and black flannel with a pair of shorts and her jacket. After slipping on her Converse, she ran down the hall. She glanced upwards at the signs, following the arrow that was labeled "CAT SCAN." On a second thought she ducked into the staff lounge and pulled on a white lab coat that lay across a folding chair.
It took several twists and turns, but eventually Alayna came upon two doctors wheeling a stretcher down the hall. She hurried forward to intercept them, reaching for the patient's chart. "Yup, this is him," she affirmed, glancing into Sam's face. He still seemed unconscious, and she grabbed the steel bed rails, pulling him away before the doctor's could even protest.
"Wait. This man's suppose to get a scan."
"Change of plans. Family requested we ship him to County." Alayna pushed Sam away, grunting at the effort it took to get the wheeled bed started. Before she could be asked any more questions, she pushed the Winchester back down the way she had come.
