Blair tapped her fingers against her phone screen as she leaned back against the Jeep she'd hot wired waiting for these so called reinforcements that Sam was sending her way. She would've preferred to have Sam or Dean come out here with her but she guessed anyone was better than no one. And if they trusted this guy, then she did too.
A light blue Camaro pulled up in the parking lot of the dingy looking bar and Blair looked up when the engine cut out. A tall boy with thick black hair and bright blue eyes stepped out of the car.
His eyes found hers as he flicked the key ring around his finger and stuffed it into his jacket pocket. "Blair?"
"In the Flesh," she straightened up, flicking her long Strawberry Blonde hair out of her face. "And you're my backup."
"Axel," he held out his hand with a charming smile and her eyebrows bounced up at the obvious flirt in his eyes. She took his hand to shake it, but he quickly swooped it up and pressed his lips to her knuckles.
She simply pulled her hand back, resisting the urge to roll her eyes. "Okay, did Sam fill you in on everything that's been going on."
"Uh, sorta," he admitted. "Catherine poisoned Alayna and there's a Demon who's got the antidote and you need my help getting it back."
More like she needed his help so she wasn't completely out numbered in case this all went sideways, but instead of telling him that she nodded. "Let's go with that." Tossing him a tight lipped smile she led the way into the bar.
Inside the lights were dim, a dull song playing in the back round of the bar chatter and the distinct sound of a cue ball smacking against other pool balls. Blair let her eyes scan the room as she looked for the Demon she was looking for while she let her magic fan out to figure out who here was a friend and who was a foe.
The bartender was definitely a Demon, as were the two guys playing darts in the back corner and....
"Well, well, well, miss me already blue eyes?"
Axel felt his anger rise at the sound of her voice - he'd know that voice anywhere. She tore his whole world apart. He turned halfway to look at the dark haired demon, his face half crunched up in displeasure and anger. "Meg..." he flexed his jaw. "Of course."
Blair frowned between the pair, "I'm sorry, am I missing something? You two know each other?"
"Oh, Axel and I go way back, don't we?" Meg's smile was wide, enjoying the annoyance radiating off of him way too much.
"Unfortunately."
"Ouch," Meg bit her lip, stuffing her hands into the front pockets of her jeans. "I'm sure you didn't come here to catch up with little ole me? So, what is it?"
Blair easily noticed the three demon's she pinpointed earlier, turn their attention over to the three of them. "You have something we need?"
"An antidote." Axel added and Meg's mouth made a perfect 'o'.
"Oh, yeah," she smirked. "I hear Alayna's not doing so hot. Catherine really did a number on her..." She jerked her chin and the two demons who were playing darts came up behind the two of them. Blair glanced over her shoulder at them and both their eyes flickered black before returning to the normal colors of their meat suits.
"Don't make this harder than it needs to be, Meg," Axel was the one to try and ease the tension.
Meg sauntered up to the dark haired boy, resting a hand on his chest, "and what if I want to make it harder, big boy."
Axel darted his eyes over to Blair, silently asking her what she wanted to do and she resisted the urge to roll her eyes. So much for this being an easy job. "Boaby," she sighed, and lifted her hand as it started to glow a bright orange.
