disloyalty - /dɪsˈlɔɪ(ə)lti/
the quality of not being loyal to a person, country, or organization; unfaithfulness

After a super stressful week, me and Gerald were chilling at home on a warm Friday night. It's been almost a month since that Taylor incident and things were slowly getting back in order. Gerald has been busy with his shop, they redesigned their website and have been getting more orders every day, plus he's been at the studio pulling a couple of all-nighters. I have also been working my ass off at work and after I got home we barely moved out of bed. We were drained but very very happy so I wasn't complaining. Those supposed prank calls stopped, no one came knocking on his door or mine, things were going great.
James called Gerald, updated him on the situation; he was pleased to hear that his brother starts college in the fall and is doing much better.
It was almost too good to be true, except my mom never called me and apologized but I didn't overthink it, I'll tell you that.

Gerald's phone buzzed and I picked it up and handed it to him; it was Marty.
"Yeah?"
He answered.

I was rolling in bed, kissing him everywhere, being annoying. "Let me ask her." He said and looked at me.
"You wanna go out, chill?"
He whispered.

"Clubbies?" I asked. He nodded.
"Sure."

"Yeah, we're down. Alright." He winked at me and smiled. "See you soon, yeah... bye."
He hung up.

"Who's there?" I wanted to know.

"Lana, Marty, Tiny and Mirei, probably a few others as well." He replied, pulling a strand of my hair off my face and tucked it behind my ear.

"Okay, I'm gonna take a quick shower and get ready." I said, jumping out of bed.

"Okay baby, I'm right behind you." He grinned. After I went to the bathroom I left the water running, meanwhile I was getting out of my baggy sweats and a t-shirt. I was checking my hair in the mirror when I heard Gerald talking to someone, probably on the phone. I opened the door just a little and I know it was rude of me to eavesdrop but I couldn't help it.

"Stop calling me, okay? I've had enough of you all." I heard him say. I decided not to disturb him so I stepped in the shower and quickly finished what I came to do. Two minutes later I was already drying off when he entered the bathroom, disappointed look on his face.

"You're already done? Damn." He bit his lower lip and frowned.

"Yeah, sorry. Go on, I need to put some make up on anyways." I said and gave him a little smile.
He stepped in and started showering, when I wanted to ask him who called but he beat me to it.

"Devon called." He said.

"Jesus. What did she want?" I asked, trying to sound at least a bit surprised.

"Nothing, the usual. She asked how I've been, if I'm still with you." He replied.

"Yeah? What did you tell her?"

"That I have what I want and that she needs to leave me the fuck alone." He said. He stepped out of the shower a minute later and wrapped his arms around me from behind, giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"My cutie. I love you." He smiled.

"Me too." I replied.
