Yugi and Heba soon manage to be alone with Ryou when Atem and Bakura and also Yami send them to fetch food. Heba turns the corner before Heba pins Ryou to the wall and Ryou tries to fight him off while Yugi watches silently. 

"Get off, Heba!" Ryou calls and Yugi silences him. 

"I don't want to be beaten..." Yugi whispers and Ryou stares at him while Heba doesn't let go. "I also want to know why you're here. Especially when Tea and Anzu are here to kill us." Yugi admits and Heba nods. 

"What are you on about?" Ryou asks as a guard turns the corner and Heba lets go, pulling Ryou behind him and Yugi quickly moves on. "They're dead..." Ryou hisses and they arrive at the kitchens and collect the food. 

"They're very much alive." Heba hissed as Anzu comes down the corridor and shoves Yugi over, but the food lands on the tray with no spillage. "Yugi!" Heba cries as he falls and Anzu calls a guard over and Ryou rushes to the gardens while Anzu tells the guard the two boys had been rude to her. "That's a lie, sir! We did no such thin-!" Heba's cut off when the guard punches him and then drags both of them to the dungeons. 

The guard chains them up as Anzu barks at them to whip the boys. Yugi felt his wrist snap when the first strike came and he cried out. Heba also gets whipped hard and holds a scream. After 30 whips, Heba and Yugi are silently weeping as the guard rises his hand to strike again with the whip. 

"Stop." A baritone voice commands and the guard spins to find Atem and Yami there. "Those are my brother and I's personal slaves. Why are you whipping them when we gave no order to do so?" Atem growls and the guard drops the whip as Anzu trembles in fear. 

"I'll get Father down here." Yami tells Atem and he nods as he continues to scold the guard before Yami returns and Atem is unchaining Yugi, then Yami unchains Heba. 

Yugi falls to his knees and stands up, his head down. Heba quickly stands again and looks at Yugi, who's hurt and blocking himself off. Atem scoops Yugi up and Yami does the same to Heba, careful of their wounds and they take them to Isis. 

Atem lies Yugi down on a bed on his stomach and Yugi closes his eyes as Heba grips his hands from the next bed along where Yami had laid Heba down on his stomach too. Their tops were removed and Isis soon saw the tattoo of a red dragon on their left shoulder blade. Isis gasps and Yugi looks back sadly. 

"Please...don't let that deter you." Yugi whispers and Heba struggles to move so he squeezes Yugi's hand. 

Isis quickly tends to their backs and then wraps their torsos in bandages and helps them sit up a little bit before Aknankanon comes in and Yugi and Heba smiles at him before Yugi closes his eyes. Aknankanon walks to Yugi before Ryou and Bakura walk in and Ryou's touching his neck.
