Yugi sprinted to Ryou's room and burst in. He saw Ryou's small form racked with sobs that seemed too big for the small boy to handle. He sat with Ryou and held him close.
"Why would they?" Ryou wept and Yugi silently kept rubbing Ryou's back. "Why is this happening again?" He cries and Yugi quietly whispered sweet words in his ear.
"They won't be violent, Ryou, not to you," Yugi admits and Ryou looks up at him. "You follow orders and don't cause trouble," Yugi admits and Ryou smiles gently.
Ryou calls down relatively quickly and Yugi leaves once he's asleep. He walks back to Atem's room and Atem is sitting on the bed with Atemu. Atemu sees Yugi and instantly tenses up, causing Atem to frown.
"Atemu, why are you so tense around Yugi?" Atem asks and Atemu quickly relaxes. "I want an answer..." Atem admits and Atemu looks down.
"He's powerful..." Atemu admits and Atem sighs as Yugi notices Obelisk is gone. "H-He's scary..." Atemu tells Atem and Yugi rolls his shoulders.
"I'm only scary around Ra to prove I can stand on my own two feet, Atemu," Yugi admits, sitting next to them. "If I wasn't, I wouldn't be down here." He adds before Atem pulls Yugi closer to him.
"W-Why?" Atemu asks and Yugi thinks. "W-Would he t-tell A-Anubis?" Atemu asks and Yugi stiffens lightly at the God's name.
"He'd probably tell Slifer that I'm not ready," Yugi tells him, quickly relaxing. "Slifer would act as he saw fit," Yugi adds and Atem pulls Yugi into his lap.

It had been a few weeks since Yugi and Atem received Atemu. Yugi was sound asleep as Atem got up. Atem got ready with Atemu's help. Atemu was up early and dressed.
"Let's let Yugi sleep in," Atem told him as Yugi turned in his sleep. "He's been up late working recently. We'll go to the meeting without him. I can update him later." Atem tells Atemu, who nods and follows Atem out of the room and down to the throne room.
*ATEMU'S POV*
The room seemed to shine with the light of Ra as me and Atem entered. Atem sat on the throne and I knelt beside his throne. The royal council was gathered to meet with the Pharaoh Atem. And Prince Yugi. They'd gotten married a few weeks ago...Lord Bakura and General Marik pulled a prank of letting hundreds of tiny rats loose in Queen Vivian and Queen Tea's room. They deserved it. They tried to get Atem and Yugi into their beds. I'd grown more comfortable around my two Masters to the point I call them by their names. They allow me to. I think...maybe...they're comfortable around me too.
After the meeting, Atem and I walk back up to the room, saying we are going to wake Yugi up. Atem opens the door and lets me in. I watch curiously as Atem goes to Yugi's side and gently shakes him. Yugi doesn't wake up. That's odd. Yugi's a light sleeper.
"Yugi. Time to get up." Atem told him but still no response from Yugi. "Yugi?" Atem inquired as he lifted Yugi's torso onto his knees. "Yugi!" Atem calls and Yugi slowly opens his eyes.
"I guess I'm good at my pretence." Yugi tells him and quickly seizes his lips with a kiss before Atem can reprimand him. "Although I feel a little dazed..." Yugi admits, blinking multiple times as Atem sits him up.
"Atemu! Go fetch Ishizu okay?" Atem orders and I bow before leaving the room.
