My Little One

Meeting Minasuki

Atem stirred in his sleep as he thought of how long Heba had been away. It had been nearly a month now. He sat up and stretched as the door opened slowly. A woman in a silk dress made by hand. She was pretty and walked with a powerful stance.

"Who are you?!" Atem demanded furiously, accidentally waking Yugi who was asleep beside him. "Answer me, I am the Pharaoh!" He demands angrily and the girl stands in front of the bed and stood braced.

"My name is Princess Minasuki from King Seto's land." She spoke clearly and Atem frowned. "I have come to inform you that Prince Heba is in the healer's chamber." She told him and Yugi clung to Atem's firm chest. "A deal was made. He was attacked on his way home but will survive." She told them and then left swiftly.

"M-Minasuki!" Yugi suddenly cried out and the princess enters again, looking a little anxious now having heard Yugi's voice. "W-Wait...where's...Maliki?!" Yugi cries suddenly and Minasuki freezes.

"He didn't escape with Heba. I was forced to leave as a messenger. If I return now, I'll be killed, Yugi. You know this too well." Minasuki admits and Yugi runs and hugs her. "Lil' brother...don't make this parting hard. I'll miss you too, Yugikina." Minasuki teases and Yugi silently cries into her shoulder.

"I haven't heard that in...6 years." Yugi wept and Atem's confused. "Sis...don't go back...please?" Yugi begs and Minasuki sighs.

"You could work here I suppose. Or at least be a guest." Atem offers regally as he sits straight. "If you are Yugi's sister, I suppose I could at least try to be civil," Atem admits and Minasuki nods gratefully.

"I would love to stay here, Pharaoh." She admits and Yugi clings to her. "Yugi..." She murmurs and Yugi wipe his eyes before running and cuddling with Atem.

Atem cuddled Yugi in and Heba came in. Yugi instantly sat up, then clung to Atem.

"I'm back, Yugi." Heba admits and Yugi smiles, but doesn't leave Atem.
