Threats Passed

Atem's confused when Ryou hides behind Bakura when Heba looks over. Bakura looks at Ryou sadly before Yugi touches Heba's arm and Ryou's shivering. 

"Heba..." Yugi whines before Heba finally looks at him. "Don't scare Ry-Ry!" Yugi scolds and Ryou peeks at Yugi. "He's been through enough, Heba." Yugi reminds and Ryou looks down. 

"What happened?" Atem asks Heba and Yugi turns to Atem. "He's petrified, why?" Atem asks and Yugi sighs. 

"Heba got protective of me..." Yugi murmurs and Ryou steps out nervously. 

"He could be working for Tea or Anzu. I don't want my baby brother killed." Heba spits and Yugi looks at Ryou."I'm allowed to be protective. Especially with those two sluts walking around." Heba warns and Yugi nods sadly. 

"But Ry-Ry is in danger too." Yugi admits before Heba is surrounded with a red glow and Yugi grips his arm and Heba looks at Ryou, then calms down. 

"Sorry, Ry-Ry." Heba apologises and Ryou smiles before lightly hugging Heba. 

"No harm done, Heba." Ryou tells him and everyone's confused. "Heba...I can't stay if Tea and Anzu are here." Ryou admits and Yugi catches his arm. 

"You can't leave either. At least here we can be protected by Akkie." Yugi admits and Aknankanon smiles at Yugi. "B-But where's Jounichi?" Yugi asks and Ryou gasps. 

"He's with Malik!" Ryou cries and Yugi pulls Ryou to him. "They're dancers. But rumours say the head of the dancers, Marik, is evil!" Ryou admits and Yugi turns to Heba. 

"Marik? He's a little mean but not cruel." Bakura chimes in and Ryou turns to him. "He was telling me about two new kids though. One with golden hair and one with sandy hair like his." Bakura admits and then sighs. "Said those kids danced perfectly an-" Bakura was cut off by Yugi standing with Heba. 

"That's Jounichi and Malik!" Yugi admits and Heba pulls Yugi closer. "We need to find them." Yugi tells Heba, who sighs and holds Yugi close. 

"And if Tea or Anzu saw all of us together?" Heba mutters and Yugi sighs. "We have to be careful." Heba reminds as Yugi puts his arms around Heba. 

"I-I know...I just miss them." Yugi whispers nervously. 

Soon, night has fallen and Yugi sits alone in his small room, still under the disguise of a slave and looks at the floor. He misses Malik and Jou, but can't see them. He snaps his head up when Atem opens his door and slips in. 

"Hey." Atem whispers and Yugi tenses a little, but turns to him. "I-I need to tell you something..." Atem murmurs and Yugi realizes how nervous he is. "I-I really like you..." Atem tells him anxiously and Yugi stands up, then shuts the door before smiling at Atem. 

"I like you too." Yugi whispers and Atem hugs him slowly. "No, I love you." Yugi corrects himself and Atem brings their lips together. 

He licks his bottom lip, asking for entrance  and Yugi gladly opens his mouth and allows Atem's tongue to slip into his mouth before they start a battle of dominance. Of course, Atem won and delighted in the taste of vanilla and cherries from Yugi. Atem broke away once they needed air and then began to kiss Yugi again, pushing him back to the bed and when he breaks away again, Atem's lying on top of Yugi. 

"Yugi, do you want to?" Atem asks softly and Yugi nods, then dives into kissing Atem again.

In the morning, Yugi wakes up and Atem is lying beside him. Yugi blushes as he remembers last nights events and the love he felt to Atem. Yugi gently strokes Atem's cheek before snuggling into his chest and Atem stirs. Yugi feels a hand brush through his hair and looks up at Atem, who smiles back and gently presses his lips to Yugi's. Yugi smiles then kisses Atem back before the door knocks and they jump apart. 

"Who is it?" Atem calls as Yugi quickly gets up. 

"It's me, Atemu!!" Tea's shrill voice sounds from outside and both boys cringe at it.
