It had been two weeks since Sage had told the press that Olivia was having Lionel’s baby and had cheated on her own boyfriend with the footballer.
It had been a hard couple of weeks and Olivia had been surprised that Sage had gotten such a negative response from Lionel’s fans after she had revealed the pregnancy.
The fans had labelled Sage a gold digger since she was using Lionel; after it had been revealed by an ‘Anonymous’ person that she had another boyfriend.
Derek St. James was a Doctor and Sage was his girlfriend, Nina was ashamed that Sage had used Lionel the way she had.
Of course, it wasn’t a surprise to Olivia that her best friend Ashley was behind the report; Ashley hated Sage and it had only increased when Sage spoke to the press.
The two friends had spoken a lot over the past week, Ashley was eager for her best friend to meet her boyfriend of eight weeks but Gavin wouldn’t allow it; he was scared that it could result in Olivia and Lionel getting closer.
Olivia was now eight weeks pregnant and Gavin couldn’t have been happier, he was more than happy to help her with everything; unfortunately Lionel was being pushed out by Gavin’s eagerness to help Olivia with the baby.
Olivia sighed as she moved about her kitchen as she prepared for her doctor’s appointment; it was her first scan and today she was going alone.Gavin was at work and was unable to come and Olivia couldn’t get a hold of Lionel and she knew he was feeling left out but she was trying to include him.
Olivia looked at the clock that sat on the wall and sighed bored as she searched through her bag, however she stopped what she was doing when the doorbell rang.
Olivia looked confused as she moved to answer it since she wasn’t expecting anyone; she smiled, however as she opened the door to find Lionel standing nervously on the other side.
The footballer smiled at her nervously, as she allowed him to step inside her home; he was glad that Ashley had convinced him to come around to see Olivia, he knew that Gavin wasn’t going to be home because of her.
“How are you?” Lionel asked as they moved into the living room, he glanced around, he was glad that he had caught Olivia alone; he hated that Gavin was pushing him out.
Olivia was having his child and Lionel wanted to be involved as much as he could, this was going to be his first and he knew that there was something shady about her boyfriend/fiancé.
“I’m good… I actually have a doctor’s appointment in an hour,” Olivia said making Lionel nodded as he looked around her home; he hadn’t been here before and it reminded him of how much he didn’t know about the mother of his child.
“You can come if you like,” Olivia offered making Lionel look at her gratefully, honestly he had wanted nothing more than to be there for her and their unborn baby.
“If Gavin doesn’t mind,” Lionel said making Olivia smile at him softly, she could see that he didn’t want to upset her boyfriend; though he didn’t have to worry about it.
“He’s away on a case at the minute… plus you are the father, you have every right to be there,” Olivia replied making Lionel smile at her.
The footballer had stayed in contact with Nina after his break-up with Sage, though he had only met her on several occasions when Sage wanted to show him off.

Olivia smiled at Lionel as her doctor checked her blood pressure, the footballer looked nervous as he watched wondering if everything was okay with his baby and Olivia.
The footballer knew how stressed he could get when the press were hounding him; he knew that it wouldn’t be good for Olivia if she got too stressed.
“How have you been feeling Ms. Pavon?” the doctor asked, Lionel glanced at her as she smiled at the doctor and nodded as he prepared the ultra-sound machine for the scan.
“I’ve good,” she said, though she wasn’t enjoying the morning sickness; she knew that she would have to go on maternity leave soon since she didn’t want to continue modelling while she was pregnant.
The doctor nodded as she picked up some gel and looked over at Lionel, he was sitting quietly watching the doctor; he didn’t know what to think about seeing his child now, it would only make it seem more real.
Olivia jumped slightly as the doctor put the cold gel onto her stomach, she glanced at Lionel as he raised an eyebrow at her curiously.
“It’s cold,” Olivia muttered when Lionel looked at her amused; he chuckled as the doctor proceeded to scan Olivia’s stomach.
The two watched as their baby appeared on the screen, Lionel couldn’t stop a smile forming on his face as he stared at the alien like image; it was his baby and he knew that it was a part of him.
“That’s your baby,” the doctor said making them smile as they realised that it was so small, Olivia was speechless; she couldn’t believe that was their baby and it was growing inside of her.
“Everything looks good… your eight weeks along so your due date is late September,” the doctor told them; Lionel grinned at the news that they had been told, he knew that it was a long time away but he couldn’t have been happier.
Olivia nodded, it was the last week of February and they still had a long way to go; the doctor smiled at them knowing that this was a special moment for them both.
“So your next appointment will be the 13th week of your pregnancy and you’ll have to start looking into midwives,” the doctor said making Olivia nod; Lionel pondered for a moment before he looked at the brunette, as she wiped off the gel and started to prepare to leave.
There was so much that they had to talk about and Lionel wanted to be more involved in the pregnancy and to have some sort of bond with Olivia before their baby was born.

Lionel insisted that he took Olivia to lunch after they had finished at the doctors, she smiled as they sat in a quiet café having lunch together; the press seemed to be having a field day with pictures of the two of them.
“I want you to be involved,” Olivia said making Lionel smile at her, it was one of the reasons that he wanted to have lunch with her; they needed to talk about this and the future.
“Good… I want to be involved Olivia, the doctor’s appointments… the parent’s classes… the birth…” Lionel said making the brunette nod; she knew that it wasn’t fair that Gavin got to be involved when he wasn’t the father.
Lionel sipped on his drink, Gavin was the main problem here; with him and Olivia together, there wasn’t much room for them to be a family or for him to be involved.
“It would mean a lot to me if you came to my football match on Sunday,” Lionel said he wanted them to show a united front to the world that even after what had happened to Sage that things were okay between them.
Olivia nodded, she knew Sage had never been to any of the Barcelona games; the press where only too happy to comment on her behaviour, though it was clear now why she had acted the way she had
