Progressive Love.

Chapter 6 (Part 2)

"Shall we leave?" Eren asked. They were both already dressed casually and were ready to go out. Levi was standing infront of the mirror, arranging his hair, making sure every single strand of hair was in place. He certainly lives up to his perfectionistic attitude. "Yeah hold on for a bit. Let me fix my hair, grab my stuff then we'll go."

After about 10 minutes, Levi was done and they headed to his car. Eren sat infront while Levi took the driver's seat. "So what are we gonna do besides watching a movie?" Eren asked while looking out at the scenery. "I really don't know to be honest. Who knows what shitty glasses has planned for us." Eren looked over at Levi. "Hey don't say that. I know she can get a little hyperactive but she's fun. Which is weird since you're always serious about everything while she laughs at every single thing." Eren gave a michevious smile to Levi. Levi just scoffed. "Tsk. Don't be so smart brat. Just quietly enjoy the ride will you." Eren was just about to say something when the radio started playing Bird by Yuya Matsushita, which happened to be his favourite song. "Oh yay this is my favourite song!" Eren started humming and singing the lyrics.

"In the sky called "you", where only I am locked up."

"I'm not going anywhere,"

"So please don't go anywhere either."

Levi looked at Eren and listened to the lyrics. It was really deep and meaningful at the same time. He kinda understood why Eren loved this song so much. Even the melody is beautiful. Levi listened to Eren's rich melodious voice sing out those words and it simply melted his heart. Eren was so precious. Soon the song finished and so did Eren. "You sound good singing you know that?" Levi pointed out. "What? Oh um well not really I just like singing any song I like so." Eren shyly looked away. Levi wanted to kiss his boyfriend right there and then but he couldn't as he needed to focus on the road. "No, really though. You sound great." Eren murmured a small thanks before leaning over to kiss Levi's cheek as another thank you sign.

They reached the mall and quickly found a parking. They went to the ground floor and began searching for Hanji and Erwin. "You know what let me just call them." Levi was just about to press the dial button when he heard his name and Eren's name being shrieked across the mall. Oh, no.

"LEEEVIIIIIII! ERRREENNNN!"

They both cringed at the sound and turned around the see Hanji running towards them. Levi quickly stood behind Eren. Eren was puzzled to why Levi stood behind him. "Lev- Ummphh!" Eren suddenly felt strong arms hugging him. He saw Hanji bone-crushingly hugging him. "H-Hanji c-cant breathe-" Hanji squealed a little more before letting go. Eren leaned on Levi, trying to regain back his breath. "I can't believe you used me as a shield." Eren said between breaths. "Well, not only did I not want to be crushed by that monstrosity, its nice to know that you are always going to be there beside me." Eren blushed before kissing his boyfriend full on the lips.

"OMG ERWIN LEVI AND EREN ARE KISSING AREN'T THEY JUST THE CUTEST OMGOMG I CAN'T TAKE IT ITS TOO ADORABLE SOMEONE-" Levi pulled away from the kiss and clamped his hand over Hanji's mouth. "Will you please stop shouting you are causing a scene." Eren looked around and indeed there were people staring their way wandering what the whole ruckus was about. Hanji noticed too and nodded. Levi let go and stood next to Eren. "Its just good to see you guys again right Erwin?" Erwin smiled brightly. "Yeah its been a long time buddy. Oh and I apologize profusely for Hanji's unnecessary loud shrieks. You know how she gets when she sees the both of you. She's like your number one fan its creepy." Hanji glared at Erwin before elbowing his ribs. "I think they looked cute together so shut up." Erwin laughed before pecking Hanji's lips.

"So what's the plan for today?" Eren asked while making a move to hold Levi's hand. He smiled when he felt Levi holding back and squeezing his hand. "Let's go to the movie first then we'll have something to eat. After that I guess we can go around shopping for a bit." Erwin said. "Alright sounds good." Levi mentioned. The four of them walked up to the third floor where the cinema was and bought tickets. They went in and Levi chose the most back seats. He didn't like sitting in places where he was prone to people looking at him from behind. So the four of them sat down and began munching in their popcorns they bought just now.

The lights suddenly dimmed down and the movie started playing. It was those typical cliche love stories in school where the popular boy will fall in love with the nerd girl blah blah. Levi mentally groaned. He didn't even know why he agreed to this in the first place. He glanced at Eren and saw that he was equally as bored and was nearly falling asleep. Levi chuckled at the sight. He bent down to whisper in Eren's ear. "Bored?" Eren just nodded. He brought Eren's head to his shoulder so he could sleep. Eren willingly laid his head on Levi's shoulder and even hugged him. Levi started to feel a little sleepy and closed his eyes. Suddenly he woke up by some shaking him. He opened his eyes to find Hanji standing with her hands on her hips, fuming.

"EXCUSE ME YOU GUYS FELL ASLEEP WATCHING THE MOVIE." Levi felt Eren get up and saw him rubbing his eyes cutely. "Wha-" Before Eren could finish his sentence Hanji interuppted again. "WAS IT REALLY THAT BORING? I MEAN I LOVED IT OKAY. YOU GUYS ARE MEAN." Eren stood up and adorably apologized to Hanji. "I'm sorry. Can you forgive us? I mean you did see us sleeping next to each other which I'm sure was pretty cute." Eren winked at Levi. Hanji breathed heavily before deciding to let them off for the day. Lets be real, Eren and Levi cuddling was extremely cute she nearly had a nosebleed.

They headed out to a small restaurant to have a bite. They ordered quite alot and managed to finish everything. Levi glanced at his watch. Its already 6 pm. He wondered what they were gonna do next. "So now what?" Hanji thought for a moment. "How bout that cute little store down there that sells couple stuff? We could totally buy things for you guys." Eren and Levi never really had anything matching or couple outfits. Levi guessed it wouldn't hurt to get something. He looked at Eren and Eren smiled happily while nodding. "Alright Hanji. We'll go there." Hanji smiled and quickly paid the bill.

They walked all the way down and went in the shop. The shop was really cute and it had all sorts of couple things. Eren walked over to the ring section and looked at it. There were various shapes and sizes and engravings. There even customized ones where the lady in the counter would engrave for you. Eren called Levi over. "Yes baby?" Levi looked at the selection of rings. "Shall we get a pair? We can ask the lady over there to engrave our names together and then we can wear it!" "Sure no problem. Hey how bout we get that ring?" Levi pointed at a pair of sliver rings that and wing patterns on it and a few diamond studs here and there. It was fairly simple but elegant. Eren instantly agreed and brought them over to the lady. "Hi excuse me, I was wondering could you engrave some letters on the rings for the both of us?" Eren asked sweetly. The lady smiled before replying. "Alright sure! What do you want it to say?" The both of them decided to have their initials engraved together. "A. J. please on both." The lady nodded and went to engrave it.

Minutes later, she came back with the rings and handed it to them. "Here you go!" They both said a thanks and paid for it. Eren was feeling a little tired and wanted to go home. So, they both of them said bye to Hanji and Erwin. Hanji was a little upset at first but she let them go after much persuasion and a promise for another double date. They drove back home and got ready for bed. But before sleeping, Levi took out the rings and placed them infront of him and Eren.

"These rings are a temporary token of our love. I'm so glad we bought them. Now, I can always be reminded that I'm loved by you, my darling." Levi slipped the ring into Eren's ring finger before kissing him. "Same goes for me. This is a very precious token to remind me of your never ending love." Eren repeated the action and slipped the ring into Levi's ring finger before kissing him as well.

"This is just temporary. I'll marry you someday and I'll get a better ring I promise." Levi nuzzled Eren's neck before making the both of them lie down and hold hands. "I believe you. But for now this is what we have as a token. I love you Levi." Eren brought their hands to his mouth to lightly kiss them. Levi snuggled closer to Eren. "I love you too Eren. So much." They both slept peacefully in each other's arms.

so yay here's part two c: and if some of you guys might realize, the song i mentioned here was from the anime: black butler. i was really inlove with that song ever since i heard it. and yes, im a fan of kuroshitsuji too hahah :) i ship sebastianxciel with all my heart <3
