(Jamie's POV)
I reached home, finally. I couldn't think of anything else then him telling me that I was related to scum. Is Charlie really scum? Or was he over exaggerating?
The door was swinging open, I enter looking around in confusion. Usually the door is locked, all the time. After we got burgled Dad made sure everything was locked before going out.
"Mum?" I called. I know she isn't meant to be here but that doesn't stop her! Nothing stops her, she needs to see her golden boy Charlie, or as she says Charles. She always feels the need to lengthen our names, well Charlie and Charles are the same length but I mean, she makes him sound posh. He is far from it!
"Charlie?" I call a different persons name this time seeming as I got no reply last time. I take a slow walk into the kitchen, everything is a mess. Food all across the floor, kitchen roll everywhere. What has happened?
"Dad!?" I scream hoping for a reply. I rush into the living room, the TV is smashed. The couches are turned on their sides.
I begin to cry unaware of what to do, I run upstairs.
I rush to Charlie's room hoping he is in there, he is?
"Why didn't you reply?" I shout, he jumps out of his skin. When he turns around I see his face which has a large black ring around his eye, scratches all down his face.
"What happened to you?" I ask. He is shoving things into a bag as quick as he can, I wonder where he is going? Then again, he gets away from here so I don't really care.
"Jamie, shut up." He snaps. "You don't need to know everything, ok? All you need to know is I got into a little bit of trouble... With um, drugs."
"DRUGS?" I scream.
"I didn't pay the guy back so he um, he um, did that down stairs." He said rushing his words. I'm breathing throw my nose heavily. "I tried to stop it." He said coming towards me placing his hands on my shoulders, which I hit of quickly.
"So, what? You're just leave me to tell dad about YOUR mistake." I say raising an eyebrow. He shrugged, then stopped for a moment I stared at him in complete amazement.
"I guess I am." He bitterly laughed.
He actually disgusts me...
"You know what, they were right!" I started clearly about to regret what i was about to say. "You are scum."
Right then I felt a hard slap across my face, I looked at him waiting for him to explain or even say something about what he had just done, or even why he had done it?
Nothing.. He just stared at me with his mouth wide open. I stared back, I was shocked too I cannot believe he actually slapped me.
When we were younger he would always threaten to hurt me or slap me, but he never did. I always took it as a joke because I new he would never have the nerve to hit me. I guess I was wrong, looks like he does have the nerve to hit me.
"Bye Charlie." I say sucking in my cheeks. He looked at me, and grabbed my arm. I hit it off, I don't want him touching me and I certainly don't want him near me...
"Don't go sis-"
"I'm not your sister" I start, I see his eyes filling up with tears. "Family by force."
"I'm sorry." Charlie says his voice filled with desperation. I look at him, I examine his face. He doesn't care, he just doesn't want me to tell Dad everything he's done.
"Charles, leave me alone." I gulp, trying to think about weather or not I really mean what I'm about to say next. "I hate you." It came out, I guess I really did mean it.
"You don't mean that." He shouts as I storm out of the room. As soon as he said that I stop, I freeze. I twist my body with a awful smirk plastered on my face.
"Don't i?" I raise an eyebrow. "Because Charles, you see. You're right, I don't hate you... I despise you.
I hate your existence, I hate that you're still living." I said, when I said it, it felt like I got everything of my chest.
I've wanted to tell someone about the way I feel about Charlie being my brother. I've never wanted him to be my brother, ever since I was ten years old. He hates me, and I hate him. It's always been that way and that's how it's always going to be.
I don't wait for a reply, I don't need him to come up with stupid excuses. I'm beyond angry right now, Charlie- Charles, has to mess everything up.
I make my way to my manly blue bedroom, I pull out a bag. An old bag which I used when I was in year nine to run away with. I shoved a few things in it, I even shoved my phone charger in there. Hoping, that I would be able to find someone to stay with tonight.
I finished cramping things into my bag. A cocky smile appears on my face, as I find the keys for the house that Charlie and I have to share. I pick them up and walk slowly to his room.
The door swings open from his room, I stand in front of him staring up at him endlessly hoping that he wouldn't hurt me. He's done it now, he wouldn't be afraid to do it again, would he?
"You better get this cleaned up before Dad gets home." I smirk, waving the keys in front of his face. "I'm gonna go." I say rushing to the door, and pulling it shut locking it behind me, so the idiot cannot get out.
"What are you doing?" I hear..
"I'm not allowed near you."
(little cliff hanger although it's obvs)
