6:00 am

Hibari's eyes slowly opened and laid there in the bed, unmoving.

He then got up a few moments later, Hibird chirped and landed on his bed, pecking at his finger. He gently rubbed the little yellow bird's head. Looking out the window, it was a beautiful, sunny day. The light slightly shines through his curtains, landing on the floor in front of him.

He lowered his eyes slightly, pressing his lips into a thin line.

"...."

Tsuna sat in his office, buried head deep in paperwork. He hadn't slept in 4 days, was that even possible for normal people? He sighed, stretching in his chair. Suddenly he heard a knock on his door, "Come in." Tsuna said.

Hibari silently walked into the room, his face was blank as usual, but there was something about him that made him seem more quiet and distant than usual.

"...I want to request for a day off." Hibari gently muttered, his suit was new and he had a bundle of flowers in one hand, lightly caressing them.

Tsuna blinked, then the realization hit him,

"Oh, yes of course..." He hesitated, then opened his mouth again, "Kyoya..." Hibari was already halfway out the door when he heard Tsuna, he turned around, questioning him with his eyes.

Tsuna stared at him, worry in his eyes, "you know...if you ever need anyone...we're always here for you." He looked at Hibari with his big eyes. Even if 10 years had passed, Tsuna still had those large doe-like eyes that made him look as innocent and vulnerable as a baby deer.

"Thank you, Tsunayoshi."

Hibari smiled ever so slightly, Tsuna's eyes widened, that was the first time he's seen his smile since...

"Jyudaimee!" Gokudera shouted as he passed by Hibari, he paused before him, confusion evident in his eyes. "You..." He didn't get to finish his sentence, as Tsuna motioned for him to stop talking.

Hibari nodded to Tsunayoshi and Gokudera, a silent way of saying goodbye. They watched Hibari disappear around the corner, and Gokudera looked at Tsuna weirdly, "Jyudaimee, why didn't you-"

"Hayato." Gokudera stopped talking immediately, then he saw the look on his face.

His eyes widened. "Is it today?"

Tsuna nodded solemnly, a hint of worry and sadness still on his face.

"No matter how long, it's just so hard to believe...that it's already been 10 years since..." He looked out the window while he spoke softly as if talking to himself. Gokudera gazed out where Tsuna was staring at, the mountain behind the Vongola Mansion.

"Hibari...that guy, he still thinks it's his fault doesn't he?" Gokudera asked quietly, he clutched the paper file he had in his hand a bit tighter, not caring about the wrinkles it made.
