Darkskin: Chapter Twenty-Nine

-One Year Later

"Okay so what you are is not funny. Take your ass up to that room until your dad comes home. Since you want to act all grown and shit he can deal with you, I'm done." Ashton stomped up the steps to his room and slammed his door. I sat there putting my hands on my head, he really want me to beat him, he really does. I finished changing Kassir's diaper and put him down on the floor, he ran away from me. I'm stressed out with these kids, Aaron running all the way back and forth from New Orleans back here in Delaware. Shits stressful, he be gone for days at a time. He moved us out to Delaware because it's a safer environment for the kids and it's a lot of open space for them. They days he actually does be home, he's here for about two days before leaving again. With

the kids it so much to do, I don't get my alone time with him. Eli and Aaron got a three story out out here. All the rooms are on the second and third floor, while the first floor is the kitchen, dinning room, yadda yadda. Then we have a garage, basement, and all that other stuff. We're all paying for it so it's not too Mich of a deal. The second floor is Kas room, Ashton Room, Rachel room and Vanessa's room (Eli's Daughter). The top floor is The room Aaron and I share, the room Eli and Carly share, and Tiffs room. We're living comfy if I must say.

My dad, the one who took car of me, hasCancer, he's been fighting it for almost four months. We've been out there visiting when we can, but the kids got school, I'm in school, it's a lot going on. My mom messages me all the time and I face time him everyday letting him know everything will be okay and I love him. Just sad to know that someone who's cared for you your whole life, could be gone soon. My dad is one of the main people on my life, don't know what I'd do without him. He's gotten me through everything with just his little talks, I don't want him to go... not at all.

I woke up from my power nap to feel arms wrapped around me. I tried moving but I couldn't. I looked up to see Aaron knocked out next to me. The kids were at the bottom of the bed sleep as well. I missed him even though it's only been about two days. I ran my finger against the fresh bruise sitting right on his left cheek. He moved a little in his sleep and smacked my hand away. "Baby." I tapped his chest, he didn't move at all. I got out his arms then climbed into his lap, I leaned down bringing his bottom lip between mines. He groaned in his sleep while I slowly grinded on top of him.

"Ashley stop." He wrapped his arms around me pulling me down to him. His eyes still closed he ran his hands down my back and straight into the back of my shorts.

"Babe! The boys in here." I whispered. He chuckled kissing my lips, he squeezed my ass in his hands. I moaned into his mouth leaning my chest on his. He pulled away from me smirking, his hands still gripping my booty.

"Trying to show you how much I missed you, in a not too sexual way." He talked lowly, it made me smile.

"Then take the kids downstairs, if not no touchy." I slid off of him and laid right next to him.

"Nah, ill just touch on you later." I giggled shaking my head.

I looked down Kas was crawling to the top of the bed with his eyes still closed. He came right up and laid his head on my chest and stuck his thumb inside his mouth.I played in his thick curls watching him instantly fall asleep on my chest. I ended up drifting off to sleep, but was waken up quickly by Aaron. The kids weren't in the bed, I rolled my eyes because he's about to bother me. I turned over and he laid behind me wrapping his arms around me.

"Now lemme bother you baby." He whispered in my ear bringing his hand around rubbing my kitten through my boy shorts. I tried moving his hand while I opened my legs wider, and rubbed my ass against him, but I couldn't.

"We can never sleep in this damn house when Aaron's home!" Carly snapped walking around the kitchen. Tiff and I busted out laughing because she probably right, I mean it's not my fault he be wanting to play all the time and shit.

"I'm sorry that I be so loud, but I don't say nothing when you and Eli be loud as hell. I be trying to go to sleep and I cant because y'all go for hours." I told her sipping my tea. She shot me a look and I started laughing.

"Okay forget it. We need to just see them more or something because we wouldn't even be like this if they stayed home. They moved us to a white neighborhood, but they still in the ghetto for four days out of a week.What type of shit is this? They got kids to take care of, and Chubbs gets bigger by the day . He needs his bum ass daddy." Carly doesn't understand she is the most ghetto white girl i've ever met in my entire life. I'm so glad I met her in high school.

"So y'all down here talking shit again?" Eli asked walking into the kitchen with Aaron and Challin with him. Tiff was staring at him like she does every time Challin walks in the room. I don't see why she thinks this guy is attractive because honey nooo.

"As a matter a fact I am." Carly came off smartly with Eli and he sucked his teeth. Aaron came behind me wrapping his arms around my chest and kissed my forehead.

"So we dropped Ashton and Rach off at school, Chubbs and Kas is upstairs still knocked out. Now we're about to go house shopping, then get y'all some money so y'all could stop bitching about life. Then everyone will be satisfied when we leave on Wednesday."Eli told us.

"I won't be satisfied because y'all leave Wednesday, don't come back until Saturday, that's three days sleeping alone in my bed." I told them with an attitude.

"Nah, you don't have to sleep alone. You just worried about not getting no dick for a few days. It's okay baby, Daddy won't be gone too long." I smacked Aaron in the chest rolling my eyes.

When we finished getting cursed out by the girls we ended up leaving. We got too much shopping and shit to do , we don't need to be sitting there listening to them complain about life. We bringing in the money, they will be okay without a little sex for a few days. The kids understand better than they do that we have jobs to do back in the NO.

"I think I like her man, the look she gives me just shows me she likes me just as much." Challin sounded like a little girl, that's why his ass in the backseat.

"Now you want her when you could have gotten her in high school, but naaah you let Rah take that ass. Rachel could be your daughter. You know Tiff was only opening her legs to a nigga she loved." I explained to him, he waved me off.

"I don't care, that's the past and I can obviously get her now, ain't no Rah in sight no more. Nigga he's dead, when you gone tell Tiff y'all killed her baby daddy?'

"When the times right. He threatened to kill Tiff and Rach, he the one who helped get Tiff kidnapped. So I'll tell her ass when I'm ready to tell her." He acting like he ain't help kill him once he found out what I found out. Challin starting to seem real suspect to me now a day, I got to keep my eye out for him.
