I got to school the next Monday trying to put my focus towards school instead of the supernatural stuff going on. I walked into my first period to see Stiles tapping his pencil rapidly against his desk, bouncing his leg up and down. I took the seat to his right and turned my body to face him.
"Are you okay?" I asked him.
He nodded. "Yeah, except for the fact that my dad was injured on Friday and Scott could've stopped it if he hadn't been making out with Allison."
My eyes widened. "Is your dad okay?"
He sighed. "Yeah, but he has to stay in and rest for a few days before he can go back to being Sheriff."
I nodded before addressing the second matter at hand.
"Don't be too upset with Scott." I told him. "He's doing his best."
He huffed and returned to tapping his pencil. After a few moments, Scott walked in and took the seat behind Stiles. He leaned forward to talk to him, but Stile remained facing forward.
"Still not talking to me?" Scott asked, getting no reply from Stiles in the slightest.
"Okay, can you at least tell me if your dad's okay?" He continued. "It's just a bruise right? Some soft tissue damage? Nothing that big."
Stiles gave him no reply once more.
"You know I feel really bad about it, right? Okay, what if I told you I'm to figure this whole thing out, and... that I went to Derek for help."
Of course this would get Stiles to talk to him. After a few more moments of silence, Stiles replied without turning around.
"If I was talking to you, I would tell you that you're an idiot for trusting him. But obviously, I'm not talking to you."
I smiled at the small banter the two were having. Scott waited a little bit longer before Stiles finally turned around. Scott wore a victory grin.
"What did he say?"

"He wants you to tap into your animal side and get angry?" I asked Scott as we walked out of first period."Correct me if I'm wrong, but usually when you do that, you try to kill someone, and that someone is usually me." Stiles pointed out.
"I know." Scott said. "That's what he means when he says that he doesn't know if he can teach me. I have to be able to control it."
"Okay, when are you seeing him again?" I asked him.
"He's picking me up at the animal clinic after work." Scott answered.
"Okay, that gives us till the end of the school day." Stiles said, walking slightly faster.
"To do what?" Scott asked.
Stiles looked at me while he answered. "To teach you ourselves."

I met the boys at lunch and sat with them. I sat next to Stiles and Scott sat across from us. He took out a textbook and set it it front of his face, open. However it was upside down.I sent him a questioning look, but he hid his face deep into the book so he didn't see it. I instead gave it to Stiles and he titled his head behind him.
I looked and saw Allison sitting herself reading a book with intense interest. I looked back at Scott and raised any eyebrow.
"Why are you hiding from her?" I asked him. "I thought things between you two were going well."
"They are." Scott answered, not moving his face from behind the book. "Derek told me to stop seeing her because she's a distraction."
