I was driving home from Derek's loft. Stiles told me that we should probably head home, so here I was just driving with the faint noise of the radio playing, a thousand thoughts of worries for Scott and Derek running through my mind.

I heard my phone ding in the cup holder, and waited till I came to a stop light before I grabbed it. I had a text from Lydia.

'Come to the pool ASAP'

Furrowing my brows, I put my phone down and started to drive in the direction of the pools.

When I got there, I saw Lydia pacing by herself. I quickly got out of the car and rushed towards her.

"Hey you okay?" I asked.

Her breathing was heavy. "I am."

Then she pointed to something behind me. "But he's not."

I slowly turned around, and gasped loudly when I saw the bloodied boy in the lifeguard tower. His throat was cut and blood dripped all the way down to his fingertips.

"Oh my!" I exclaimed as I brought my hand to cover my mouth and backed up next to Lydia.

His eyes were open, but were dull. Blood coated his neck and drenched his clothes.

"Lydia..." I said quietly. "Have you called the police yet?"

"No, I texted you first." She said as her voice quivered.

"Okay, call 911." I told her as I kept my eyes on the body.

She nodded slowly and turned around as she took out her phone and dialed the police.

"Hello?" She said in a shaky voice. "Yes, um, I-I need the police and an ambulance."

I kept watching the body, as well as looking around the area I was in for any sign of what happened as she spoke with the 911 operator.

I noticed something glimmer, and I squinted my eyes as I slowly walked towards the body. When I was close enough, I saw a silver ring on his bloodied finger that said 'purity'.

"They're on their way." Lydia told me once she hung up. "Should we call anyone else? Scott? Allison?"

I shook my head and turned around.

"I don't think they'd get here in time." I told her, considering I had no idea where Allison was and Scott had his hands full with the two werewolves on the loose.

"I'll call Stiles." I said as I took my phone out of my pocket.

She nodded and wrapped her arms around herself as she shivered. I dialed Stiles and held the phone to my ear as I heard the familiar ring.

"[y/n]?" He said as soon as he picked up.

"Get to the pools." I said urgently. "Like, now."

I stood next to Lydia as we watched the familiar blue Jeep pull up beside our cars.

"[y/n]?" Stiles called. "Lydia?"

He jumped out and rushed towards us.

"Hey, you two okay?" He asked as he approached us.

I nodded as I shivered. "We're okay."

"That... over there..." Lydia said shakily. "Not okay."

Stiles looked at the boy and his eyes widened slightly at the sight. He looked back and forth between us and the body.

"Yeah, alright. I'm gonna call my dad." He said as he went to get his phone out.
