A/N: sooooo y'all are probably wondering where I've been :).... truth be told, one of my parents walked in on me writing this chapter and i felt too embarrassed to finish it and couldn't bring myself to write again for 2 months :( but now I'm good <3

[Y/N] POV

I felt my body being lifted and placed up against a hard wall. I did my best to open my heavy eyes, my vision very blurry and my hearing a bit tuned out. As I was able to focus my eyes, I hissed as I felt a sting on the side of my head.

"It's okay," Deaton said, as he knelt down in front of me, pressing the clean cloth against my head. He gently dabbed the area, and I could make out the faint red color that began to stain it. "Melissa is on her way, but my guess is you may have a concussion."

I took in my surroundings to see the Sheriff lifting Stiles' limp body with Scott's help. Memories of what had previously occurred came to me.

"Stiles..." I whispered, feeling a bit too weak to speak louder. "He..."

"I know," the vet cut me off. "It was the nogitsune inside him, but its poisoned for now."

I knitted my brows together. "For now?"

Before he could answer, I see Melissa walk into the clinic, gloves covering her hands as she carried a decent sized black bag. She and Deaton nodded to one another, and then promptly switched places. As Melissa began to dig into her bag, Kira approached us. She gave me her best attempt at a smile before sitting down beside me against the wall.

"You okay?" I asked her as Melissa began to gently dab an alcohol wipe against my wound.

"Me?" the kitsune asked. "I'm fine, it should be me asking you that."

"You took quite the fall, sweetheart," Melissa said as she pulled out a mini flashlight. "From what Scott tells me, he couldn't tell who was hit harder: your head or the floor."

My lips slightly turned upwards as I let out a breathy laugh, before they dropped back down. "What about Stiles?"

Melissa sighed and shook her head as she instructed me to follow the flashlight, moving it back and forth in front of my eyes. "Your guess is as good as mine."

---

Riding on the back of Scott's motorcycle, we pulled up to Eichen House just as Stiles and her father were about to enter the front gates. I quickly took my helmet off and jumped off the bike as they turned to look at us. I stood in front of them with a look of disbelief.

"Why didn't you tell us?" I asked them as Scott stood beside me, mimicking a similar expression.

"Because we wanted to avoid something like this," the Sheriff explained.

"It's only 72 hours," Stiles added.

"This is the same place where Barrow came from," Scott argued. "The guy who had a tumor inside him filled with flies."

I turned to Stilinski with pleading eyes. "You don't know everything yet."

"I know enough," he replied. "Nogitsunes, kitsunes, oni, or whatever they're called."

Stiles nodded. "Wow, that was actually all surprisingly correct."

"Guys," his father said, addressing me and Scott. "I saw an MRI that looked exactly like my wife's,... and it terrifies me. I'm headed down to LA tomorrow to talk to a specialist."

"Then why are you putting him in here?" Scott asked.

"He's not," Stiles piped in. "It was my decision."
