"Normality is a paved road;
It's comfortable to walk,
but no flowers grow."
- Vincent Van Gogh
You met Scott McCall...
A/N: y'all might be a little mad at me bc I left something out of this chapter but there's an explanation for it in the author's note at the end!
I drove in the back of Allison's car as she drove to where Scott was. Lydia took a pen and traced the outline of her bruise, and once she was done, she held it up aligned with Allison's.
"I don't know." She said as she stared at the bruises. "Doesn't look like much to me."
"It's a pattern." Allison insisted as she drove. "It means something."
"And you really think Scott's gonna know what it is?" I asked.
"No," she replied. "But he might know someone who does."
"How are you so sure that it means anything at all?" Lydia questioned as she turned slightly in her seat.
"Because that girl wasn't just looking for Scott." Allison said. "It's like she needed to find him. Like she had to. And that means something."
That's when I remembered that she was the girl in my dreams, and that she had to have been with Isaac if my thinking is correct. Maybe we should be going to him.
"What about Isaac?" I asked. "I mean, he just got back, and was in the hospital for a bit. Maybe he knows something?"
Allison pondered. "Maybe."

Scott walked beside Stiles with his head hung low, looking down at his sneakers. Stiles noticed this.
"What?" He asked.
Scott looked up. "What do you mean 'what'?"
"I mean 'what', and you know what." Stiles replied.
"What 'What '?"
"That look you were giving." Stiles said.
"I didn't give a look."
"Oh, there was a distinct look, Scott."
"What look?"
"The look that says that the last thing you feel like doing right now is going to a party."
"It's not that." Scott defended. "It just seems weird going to a different high school's party."
"Okay, would you-" Stiles groaned. "One drink, alright? You'll be fine. I went to nursery school with this girl, okay? She promised to introduce us to all of her friends."
Stiles looked at Scott as they came close to the house. "So tonight, no Allison. Tonight, you're moving on."
Scott gave him a pointed look. "And [y/n]'s okay with you going to another girl's party without her?"
Stiles scoffed. "She's not the jealous type, Scott. And besides, I'm trustworthy, aren't I? But tonight's not about me, it's about you, moving on."
Scott looked down at his phone, and saw that he had a missed call from Allison. He sighed, and forced himself to put his phone back in his pocket.
"You're right." He said to his best friend.
"You're right I'm right." Stiles said proudly.
They came to a stop as they found the house.
"Moving on." Scott said, smiling a little.
"Onward and upward!" Stiles exclaimed, flinging his arm to point up.
"Let's do this." Scott said confidently.
"That's what I'm talking about." Stiles nodded.
