Stiles held the flashlight in one hand as he held his phone in the other.
"Get your ass down here now, we have a job to do." he said as he searched around the dark and empty locker room.
"Dude, I'm already in bed." Scott argued. "And aren't we getting a little old for this?"
"We do this for Coach," Stiles defended as he approached his locker.
"I thought we did this to Coach?" [y/n] asked as she joined him quietly in the locker room.
"Whatever, okay? You know he needs this. He lives for this stuff, He loves it." He turned back to [y/n]. "Coast clear?"
She nodded with a sly smirk on her face. "No one's here."
"Stiles, it's the middle of the night."
Stiles held the flashlight in his mouth for a moment so he could open his locker, [y/n] standing beside him as she looked around the dark room.
"12:15 actually," Stiles corrected. "Which means it's after midnight and officially Mischief Night/Day-" he held up a weird tool and [y/n] eyed it suspiciously. "And, by perfectly awesome coincidence, it also happens to be Coach's birthday. So if you are not down here in five seconds, I will destroy you, okay? And I mean five, four, three, two-"
He turned around and immediately jerked back, falling to the ground as Scott glowed his eyes. They returned to their normal brown color, and he smiled childishly as [y/n] held her hand over her mouth, laughing into them.
"One." Scott finished.
"I hate you."

The next day, Scott parked his motorcycle in the school parking lot, and noticed the twins parking theirs as well a few spots away. They got off their bikes and walked towards him.
"You're back in school?" Scott asked, trying to keep things friendly.
"No," Ethan answered. "Just to talk."
"Oh, that's kind of a change of pace for you guys." Stiles cut in as he approached with [y/n]. "Usually, you're just hurting, maiming, and killing."
Aiden ignored him. "You need a pack. We need an alpha."
"Yeah, absolutely not. That's hilarious though." Stiles continued.
[y/n] rolled her eyes and gently jabbed him in the side with her elbow.
"You can to us for help, we helped." Ethan defended calmly.
[y/n] raised her brows at this. "You beat his face into a bloody pulp. That's not helping."
"In my opinion, that's actually counterproductive." Stiles added.
"Why would I say yes?" Scott asked, speaking up for the first time since Stiles and [y/n] arrived.
"We'd add strength," Aiden began to list. "We'd make you more powerful. There's no reason to say no."
Stiles rolled his eyes at this, and [y/n] just wanted this to end and to go to class. She wanted to have a normal day for once.
"I can think of one."
The group turned to see Isaac approaching them.
"Like the two of you holding Derek's claws while Kali impaled Boyd." He said, thinking back to the horrific scene that played out several weeks ago. "In fact, I don't know why we're not impaling them right now."
Aiden bared his fangs at the beta and shined his blue eyes. "You want to try?"
Isaac and Aiden stepped towards each other, but were stopped. Scott grabbed Isaac's wrist while [y/n] stepped over and held her hand on Aiden's chest, giving him a look. He looked down at the girl, knowing that if she says he can't do something, he shouldn't.
