A Quick Recap

Hello!! I know it's been several months since I posted a chapter in this book, and since I plan to continue writing for the season at the least, a recap might do you some good! I'm sorry if it seems all over the place, but I'll do my best to explain the plot so far as best as I can. I hope this helps you guys out some! However, if you just started reading this book recently and don't need a recap, feel free to skip it!

Season 1

[y/n] is best friends with Stiles and Scott. Stiles drags his two friends out into the woods to investigate a dead body. However, they eventually run into the police, the Sheriff being Stiles' father. He catches Stiles and [y/n], but not Scott. Due to this, Scott has to walk home by himself, where he ends up being bitten by an alpha werewolf.

Once he begins to act strange, Stiles and [y/n] start to do some research into lycanthropy. Scott doesn't believe them at first, wanting to focus on his new position in lacrosse and building a romantic relationship with the new girl, Allison. Despite this, he ends up turning on a full moon and figured out that what his friends were saying was true.

The rest of the season goes through Stiles and [y/n] trying to help Scott through his new abilities and gaining control of them. Feelings start to grow between them and they share a kiss on the night of a full moon while Scott is chained up in his room. However, because of everything going on, the moment seems to be forgotten at the moment.

At the dance, [y/n] goes stag while Stiles goes with Lydia. Despite this, they end up sharing a dance and another moment together. That is, until [y/n] goes to find Lydia. She finds her on the lacrosse field, where the two of them are attacked by Peter.

Stiles ends up being taken by Peter to find Derek, but messages Jackson so that he can come and take the girls to the hospital. However, once Jackson arrives on the scene, he only finds Lydia.

He takes Lydia to the hospital with the intent of going back to look for [y/n]. Before he could leave the hospital, he and the Sheriff see [y/n] walk into the hospital herself with glowing white eyes right before she faints.

Scott and Stiles visit the two girls to check on them, and they start to wonder what will happen to them.

Season 2

Lydia is up and moving while [y/n] is still unresponsive. While Stiles is visiting the two girls, they end up going missing. They are both missing for 2 days before they are found. Lydia is found by the police while Derek finds [y/n] at his burned down house. She appears to be in a trance and whispering the word "fire". Stiles arrives and Derek informs them that she is not a werewolf, but she is not human either.

Lydia and [y/n] return to school, and there appears to be a new creature in town, the Kanima. Derek and his new pack devise plans to figure out who it is. They test both Lydia and [y/n] with kanima venom, and they both pass the test. They assume Lydia is the kanima, because [y/n] is tested for a different reason: to confirm Derek's suspicions. In various encounters with the Kanima, it does not go near her. It is because of these that she finds out she has a sort of immunity or guard against supernatural creatures and elements.

After a few run ins with Derek's betas, Stiles and [y/n] decide to get together and become a couple. They also decide to keep their relationship on the down low for the moment.

When they find out it is Jackson who is the Kanima, they create plans to try and catch him and the person controlling him. During this time, Deaton is revealing to [y/n] the type of creature she is: an everna. However, because of how rare they are, she has no idea what other abilities she has, other than to look into people's minds.

When Stiles goes missing, she is super stressed and trying to do everything she can to help. However, because of how her powers are just starting to come to light, she does not know how to control it. Fortunately, Stiles soon returns. While [y/n] is with him in his room to check on him, she finds a locket with the words 'from day one' engraved in it. Stiles had planned to give this necklace to her on his birthday.

Once Matt is defeated and the Kanima is gone, life seems to return to normal.

Season 3a

[y/n] had gone to France with Allison and Argent for the summer. Allison and Scott are now broken up, as well as Lydia and Jackson, but [y/n] and Stiles are going strong. She had gone to France to try and figure out some things about what she is, but ultimately finds nothing useful.

Once they start going to school again, [y/n] gets an internship at the hospital, they end up getting involved with human sacrifices. One of the sacrifices ends up being [y/n]'s father due to his time in the armed forces. This changes a lot for her and her mother. They get these responsibilities dumped on them and her mother begins to go down a dark path. She gets barely any sleep because she has to do school, her internship, bills, and other stuff her father left behind.

Because of this, she ends up finding out that she was legally adopted by her aunt and uncle after her biologically mother had died from giving birth to her. This is also when she finds her birth certificate and discovers that Peter Hale is her biological father. She becomes scared of telling Stiles and the rest of her friends because of the bad history they have with the werewolf, so for awhile, Scott is the only one who knows.

She also gets scouted by Deucalion, who wants her to be in his pack due to how rare her kind is and how powerful she can become. She doesn't even consider joining until Melissa and Sheriff Stilinski are taken by Jennifer. She joins the alpha pack with Scott as they try to find a way to find their parents.

She ends up finding them in a root cellar with Stiles. Once everyone is back home and recovering, she tells Stiles the truth about what she hid from him. Soon the rest of the pack find out, and it becomes a problem for another day.

to sum it up (in terms of [y/n]'s character)
- She is an Everna, a super rare creature who's abilities vary
- she does not have full control of her abilities yet, and some she has not discovered yet

* the abilities she's unlocked so far is a guard/immunity to supernatural elements when she's feeling a negative emotion and the ability to see a person's past/present/future memories (although she cannot quite control who or what she sees) *

- her father (who is really her uncle) was killed as a human sacrifice
- she was legally adopted by her aunt, as her biological mother died in childbirth
- her biological father is Peter Hale, but he is unaware of this
- her and Stiles are currently together
